    Clean, small hotel

    Hotel is in a good location. It’s small, quaint and clean. Free wifi, limited breakfast but that could be because it’s off season. 10-15 min walk to Taksim Square, close to lots of shopping & restaurants.

    very poor service and small rooms, the staff couldnt talk much of english and not that friendly. the area during night was super noisy and was hard to sleep in the hotel before 2am, i wouldnt recommend it to families or couples.

    We had to find a hotel on the spot, because the place that we booked nearby canceled our reservation on the day of arrival. The staff at Grand Hisar Hotel was so friendly and helpful, they saved the day! Location is good, rooms are cosy and clean.

    Room smelled of cigarettes. Hotel staff was smoking in the lobby.Room was also not far from the kitchen and at night we can smell them cooking.Noise from the street is as if the room is in a club.We also could hear the conversation from next door.Wi-fi didn’t work half the time and you had to go back to the front desk every time since they don’t give out the password.There was one queen bed and a single bed in a tiny room, and almost no space for luggage. We had to walk sideways between the beds.Beds were hard as stones and pillows were old and lumpy.Front desk team was not very friendly.

    Had to find a hotel at the last minute, due to the pension I was booked in being awful. Turned up at The Grand at about 2.00 in the morning. They showed me a couple of rooms, advised one of the internal ones as being less noisy. Very friendly staff. Rooom clean and water piping hot.It's not the quietest of neighbourhoods, and if you have an external room, you had better be a heavy sleeper.But for the price it's fine - slap bang in the middle of everything.
