    I stayed at Grand Hotel Avcilar on multiple occasions whenever I visit Istanbul for work reasons. Their rooms are clean, and the staff is always present to help out. definitely recommend it. It is located really close to the public transport, which makes it easier to go around too.     The stuff on the reseption is really rude and don't know how to deal with guest especially jerdanez , the room is small not recommended at all over priced , stuff not friendly , pool is not free of charge , all in all not recommended at alllllll

    We stayed there 5 night . It's always a pleasure to be there, The Breakfast was so good. it's exactly on the highway but its no noise .Persian : یکی از هتل های خوب و تمیز استانبول، دسترسی به جاهای شلوغ مثل تکسیم با اتوبوس از شما حدودا 40 دقیقه زمان میگیره ولی این هتل با توجه به قیمتی که داره بسیار مناسب هست . صبحانه هتل عالیه و فکر نکنم با هتل های 3 ستاره سمت تکسیم اصلا بشه مقایسش کرد . برای کسایی که بتونن ماشین کرایه کنن عالیه چون دسترسی به اتوبان و جاده ها خیلی راحت هست .     Satisfactory stay in commercial Istanbul and a 3* hotel ~ The Grand, Acivilar

    This is a perfectly satisfactory midrange business-persons hotel appropriately close to commercial Istanbul, as well as the private and state universities in the city. It is not really a good choice for those who want to visit the old city and become tourists at the mosques and view the historical artifacts. For that I would strongly recommend the RAST HOTEL which is well situated in Sultanhamet.The Grand is priced well, has an adequate daily-changing dinner special for about US$12, with breakfast included in the daily rate. The hotel is squashed against one of the busiest highways in Istanbul city, but the windows are sealed well for noise abatement.The rooms are clean, the beds averagely comfortable, the air-conditioning is central rather than window sourced, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Beware the scam artists (aka. taxi-drivers) in IST and make your reservation through the hotel desk with a pickup/drop-off to say being victimized. There really is nothing good to say about Istanbul taxi-drivers .... such a shame.In summary, this is a perfectly adequate three-star hotel in a city of 20-million souls. And, while it will never be a hotel that is featured on the front page of a glossy magazine, iIt is the sort of place that I will return to time and again.

    I stay there very often cuz of work. It's always a pleasure to be there, staff solves your problems quickly and kindly. Also clean and mostly calm but don't forget it's exactly on the highway. They're doing good job for a 3 star hotel.
