    I found the hotel very good value. A great location for getting around and seeing the main attractions. Everything close by. Ismail and the staff were very helpful and made my trip more pleasant. I found they were happy to help out if they could. The breakfast again was very good value. I feel I got a good deal. I would use the hotel again.

    Don’t book if you don’t want to loose money!

    Cancelled flight, informed the hotel. Noted that we probably couldn’t come at all. But, luckily we managed to rebook for the next day! We and booking.com informed the hotel that we could spend 4 nights out of originally 5! By surprise, upon arrival in Istanbul we got - no show, full cancellation! So, we were there after a cancelled flight, notified we were coming, with a FULLY paid room and they didn’t let us in! They just kept our money! Client unfriendly at the max…….!!

    My daughter & grandson & myself booked a 3- night stay at this very reasonably priced hotel. At the last minute I became ill so my husband wanted to travel with us to help me. The hotel is small but have a big welcome for guests. They let me husband stay for a minimum cost & we stayed in the same room. They were always very helpful & pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was basic but adequate. The hotel is only 5 mins walk to Beyazid tram & it brings you to Topkapi Saray-Hagia Sophia & the Cisterns. Lots of eateries on the way & small general shops. I found it a lovely area with plenty of handbag & shoe shops - obviously wholesale district. There's a lovely park & cafe nearby & a bazaar. It was a lovely place to stay & I can highly recommend it.Thank you to everyone for helping to make our stay a happy one 🥰👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The hotel is so nice. It’s nearby the Beyazit tram station (Grand Bazaar), and only 3 minutes walking away. The room where I and my wife stayed in is large and clean. The receptionist Mehmet is very helpful and friendly. I recommend it for sure 💯

    Beware the Grand Kavi -it’s a scam!

    Do NOT stay at this hotel!We had booked a 4 night stay through Expedia over a year ago. Arrived on Thursday 8th June at 7.30pm to be told by front desk that our booking was cancelled that morning- ‘as Expedia have not paid us’. Basically told us there was nothing they could do and all rooms were now taken.After a very long & expensive international mobile phone call to Expedia, we thankfully managed to get 4 nights at another local hotel. Expedia made it clear that this situation was the Grand Kavi hotel’s doing and they had access to the booking funds via the normal interchange system they use to do so. They deliberately made errors in this process and then using this as an excuse, cancelled our booking (while we were in flight) and immediately resold our room booking for a much higher rate. What a surprise it was Uefa Champions League final weekend in Istanbul! Money to be made- was pure profiteering and cynical manipulation.The usual tricks of I don’t speak English and false sympathy were also evident. They just wanted us to disappear.
