    Firstly I would advise against booking this hotel via booking.com. I have used this company for many years and always trusted their service. Unfortunately they have destroyed any respect I had for their service. The hotel was advertised as a free breakfast this option was offered on ALL room selection so was not an option to refuse. The payment had to be made immediately on booking with no cancellation. on arrival at the hotel we was info the free breakfast was not available and there would be a cost of 17 euros each per day per person. I challenged this and was told that Booking.com had used a 3rd party and the breakfast cost were detailed on the confirmation. On checking the confirmation sent from Booking.com it did indeed mention the booking was room only. I have contacted Booking.com customer service which were useless and they just referred to the confirmation even after i sent them screenshots of the advert detailing free breakfast. The hotel staff were very accommodating and polite, unfortunately the hotel is not 5 star as advertised. The rooms are spacious but tired, the walls are very thin so every noise is heard. This didn't help us as our room (901) backed onto the lift so every time the lift moved we heard it !!!!On a plus side the spa was very nice with the use of the gym and swimming pool being free of charge for hotel guest ( 250 TL for cap) The restaurant food was of good quality but expensive, but not as expensive as the alcohol. (900tl for a G & T fourteen pounds !!!)The location is in a run down area doesn't offer very good views, the tram station is about 10 min walk. You can buy a Istanbul card which you can load and use for the tram. the cost are very cheap but be aware, local guys hang around the ticket machine and offer to help you put money on your card. They are scammers, they will switch your card for their own and put on as much as the can from your card. If you are looking for a 3 star experience then this hotel is OK
