    dont trust appontments!

I tryed to make arrangement for airporttransfer - twice I wrote with no result, then I phoned and was told I should reserve by using Whatsapp - I told i did not have whatsapp, but now I wrote the plaindetails twice, so it should be ok. the guy on the phone said it was ok, we would be pcjåked up.When arriving to Istanbul there was npbody to pick us up, so we called the hotel several times - first they did not pick up the phone, then they told us, that nobody speaks english, we could call again the next. day.we found another transport, and arriving at the hotel we complained - they did noy understand a word. the next day they claimed thatwe should have confirmed on whatsapp, ans as we did not, there was no airport- transfer. After 3 days they blocked our keycard - and they would open if we did not pay the transfer (50€). we told them that we did not have any transport, but now they claimed that their driver has being waiting for us 2 hours in the airport. at last we payed them 30 € just to have our keys opened.beside that, the hotel is listet as 3 star - this it at least 1 to much.It its alomst impossibble to speak, nobody speaks anything but turkish. No soap in batroom, you have to ask for toilet-paper.The given toom was with an extra bed, so no space at all - except the extra bed was god to place the suitcase

    In desperate need for renovation

    rating06 May 2018

Location of this hotel is very good, close to T1 and Askaray tram station. The most significant landmarks are just 2-3km away. Also, the exterior looks great and promising. Unfortunately, this is a poorly kept hotel and this is the main problem. As a couple, we got a room so small my bf couldn’t even fit in bed (beacuse he is very tall for Turkish standard), some of the lamps are not working or even don’t have a lightbulb. In front of powder table there is no mirror which is extremely awkward considering it’s purpose to get ready and put some makeup on, right? In the bathroom there is not a single shelf for toiletries near the sink. I also found someone’s flip flops in the bathroom (which tells me it’s poorly cleaned after guest check out). Also, no hook on the door for a bathrobe or anything.Breakfast is always the same, with only one type of ham and no other meat products (mainly veggies). Also, there is no sign what is what so you kinda have to guess what are you eating. This is not a deal-breaker for me, but there are many people with some sort of allergies so this should be taken into consideration. On the bright side, towels are changed and the bed is made every single day and the staff is very polite (although they barely speak english). All in all, i would reccomend to the hotel menagment to fix all the little things, since they really don’t cost that much, but would make a great difference. The hotel looks really lovely, but it could improve drastically. Anyway, if you are staying at this hotel as a tourist, it’s not that bad because you will only sleep in it after a looong walk around the city. ;)

    Avoid!

    rating05 Sept 2017

Stayed in this hotel for 10 nights.I had booked for an Airport shuttle to pick me up late at night from the airport, that never happened, so had to make my way to the hotel via the yellow cab. Then the room was dirty, complained next say was upgraded, happy about that! It's near the Aksaray tram stop, easy to get to all tourist attractions etc, but the reception staff have no knowledge of English! Only two guys from reception did, Ayman was a great asset, very professional and he spoke English. The other guy I believe his name was Serkan, he was helpful, but Halil the bus boy, he was extremely annoying, one day he decided to follow me after his shift, made a complaint to the Manager next day!The area where hotel is located is more wholesale, but very lively, easy access to tram and metro. All in all a good location, did eventually enjoy my stay, near all main attractions.

Very nice and modern hotel run by lovely people

    rating09 Feb 2017

Just returned back to the UK after staying at this hotel for three nights in February 2017. We caught the Metro train (M1A) from the airport to Aksaray. We did not change to the tram (T1). It turned out to be a short 10 minutes walk and was pleasant and safe, despite being around 10:30/11:00pm! As we arrived, the staff saw us and came out to help carry our baggage up the few stairs at the entrance. This was very nice and although I insisted that I will help carry the bags, the staff (super quickly) arranged for additional staff to help. As we walked in, they immediately offered us a seat and Tea or Coffee. Keeping in mind it was almost 11pm and we had planned to go out for dinner, I kindly refused but they still brought us water which was much appreciated at the time. Check-in was smooth and the welcome was amazing, but they were busy and it took around 10/15 mins so make sure you consider this in your intinary. The rooms were modern and par with any reputable hotel in the UK. The bed was very comfortable with fresh sheets. Ample towels were provided with soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The TV had a handful of International channels and we could also control the temperature in our room. The rooms looked just like the pictures on their website. Breakfast was very good. Buffet but a good combination of Turkish and European foods, both hot and cold. I personally loved their hot chocolate! They also provided vegetarian options, as well as meat. Breakfast was served between 7am and 10am. They repetitively added to the buffet as guests came and ate which mean hot foods were often warm and nothing ran out. Excellent location with metro connectivity to Sultanamet (via Aksaray tram stop, T1) and Taksim (via Vezniciler metro stop, M2). If you plan to explore more of Istanbul than just Sultanamet, a hotel here is much better than Sultanamet as its easier to get around everywhere from here. It was also 15 mins walk away from the Suleymaniye mosque which is poorly served by public transport.Staff were very polite and caring. Some of them could not communication very well in English but a few were very good and they were around all of the time. Generally, it seemed like the hotel was a new venture by an owner who knew how to provide good customer service and experience to guests but did not know much about the nitty gritty of the hospitality industry. The only suggestion that I would make if for them to improve this, as it makes them fall short of a 4 star establishment. Although this is temporary, as they have the good heart and they try their best to give you a very good experience and stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you guys for a lovely stay (if you are reading this). Jazak-Allah Khair.
