  Nice place to stay for a Holiday in Istanbul.

  Istanbul Holiday 08-10 September.Immediately as i entered in the hotel the Receptionist,a young gentleman( i didn't get his name)helped us to find a room to stay, especially that it was very late. Also his young colleague was very kind and helped us(also i didn't get his name).-The price for rooms is affordable,the rooms are nice, comfortable, spacious and clean,a big plus for that,that means the Housekeeping is doing a good job.-Good Wi-fi connection;-The breakfast is included and is tasty ,just perfect to start your day.-The location is perfect because the hotel is close to The Grand Bazaar and Downtown.I recommend this hotel to everyone.For sure when we will visit Istanbul again , we will try to stay there if will be possible.Greetings from Gabriel !

  Great Position for accessing major tourist sights

  The taxi from the airport could get up to the hotel as police had put a barricade up so we had to walk up the cobbled street with our large bags. So not a good start! The room was a little small but nice and the beds were comfortable.Some staff were very helpful and spoke English but others not either.The breakfast on the upper floor offered a great view over the Bosphorus and the food selection was varied.One of the best things was the closeness of the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the underground water cistern. Buying a public transport pass enabled us to easily access the best tourist attractions so as to avoid walking in the heat.

  This hotel is in a great location , near the Grand Bizarre and the tram line. Lots of restaurants close by. The room was great, with walk in shower. The breakfast wasn't the best but you can't have everything . Would certainly stay there again .

  I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the Grand Rosa Hotel in Istanbul. My recent had a reservation at your establishment and was a complete disaster, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience with others who may be considering staying at your hotel.Firstly, the behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable. They were rude, dismissive, and showed a complete lack of concern for my elderly, sick mother who was unceremoniously kicked out of the hotel in the pouring rain. Their disrespectful and defiant attitude was simply unacceptable.Moreover, the staff at Grand Rosa Hotel displayed a lack of professionalism and seemed poorly trained. The fact that they couldn't speak English well made it even more difficult to communicate with them. Their incompetence and unwillingness to resolve the situation only added to the stress and discomfort of our already unpleasant stay.I would like to mention that the situation was made even more frustrating by the fact that I had already paid for the room in advance. Despite my concerns about my mother's well-being and inability to contact her due to her phone's roaming not working, the staff seemed to be more concerned about ensuring that I paid the tax, rather than resolving the issue of my mother's accommodation.This lack of compassion and empathy for our situation is unacceptable, and further highlights the lack of professionalism and training among the staff at Grand Rosa Hotel. I urge you to take immediate steps to address these issues to avoid causing further distress to your future guests.

  Location is everything

  I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the bazaar. The hotel is small, but comfortable, clean and with a friendly and helpful staff. I was there during Ramadan and the first day of lockdown, so the buffet wasn’t open. The other complaint I had, although not the fault of the hotel, is the narrow street it’s located on, which makes getting to and from the hotel difficult. Taxis and transport vans will park in the street to load and drop off passengers, which creates time-consuming traffic jams; take this into consideration if you have to go somewhere fast.
