    Very attentive service to travelers

    We needed information to go back to our ship. The streets and the bridge that leed to the Galataport were closed and no taxis could take us back to the port from Sultanahmet. Even though we were not staying at the hotel, the clerk in charge was very gentle and advised us about what to do.He made several calls to find out what was going on and explained to us how to use the tram, where to find it and where to purchase the tickets. Very helpful information for us in our first trip to Istambul.

    Best experience in Gulec Hotel.Perfect location.Friendly staff specifically Atilla who made our staff so easy. He was very attentive to our requests.He even gave us good advices for shopping and restaurants etc..He is a noble person with a golden heart.Will definitely recommend Gulec Hotel to the visitors.Thank you Atilla for the wonderful experience at your hotel.Will come back again😊

    If you go to Istanbul you must stay at Gulec Hotel

    My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Istanbul, and the Gulec Hotel was a great choice for us to stay. The Hotel is about 1 hour away from the Istanbul International airport where the Hotel made the arrangements for us to be picked up and return to the airport as well. The Hotel's locations was perfect to see most of the sites that are amazing due to the every thing was quite close to the Gulec Hotel such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hagia Sophia experience center, the Grand Bazzar, The Istanbul Historical Museum or book tours right from the hotel, Hop on Hop Off Bus to get to all the other places without getting a private Taxi which is not advisable in Istanbul. The front desk manager was very accommodating and helpful as well as the other staff of the Hotel. Breakfast was nice, with traditional Turkey cuisine breakfast items, in addition to scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs, toast, and cakes and cookies. The breakfast area had a coffee machine that makes all the coffees from regular, Americano and Cappuccino. The staff offers traditional Turkish Tea and coffee as well. Plenty of restaurants and interesting retail location on the same block of the Hotel.

    Do not stay at this hotel. It is false that they have 4 stars, they only have 2. The hotel was dirty, I got sick due to its lack of hygiene, there was a lot of dust. I thought I had caught a bad flu but it turned out it was an allergy to a mite or some dangerous substance. I'm 60 years old and nothing like that has ever happened to me in my life. On the sixth day that I had not left the room except for lunch, I moved to a fantastic hotel 70 meters away that was 4 real stars and cheaper and the problem ended. Nothing happened to my partner. They fired me refusing to refund any money even though I had paid for 9 nights. The next day after my threats via WhatsApp they paid me only two nights even though I paid for three at the other hotel. Let's see if from here, Spain, I can bring this to the attention of any health authority in Istanbul. They ruined our Christmas vacation in the worst way.

    The Best hotel. The employees are frendly and always helpful. Breakfast od varoed, the rooms are člena and tidy. All attractions are within walking distance. The hotel organizem boat trips and spa vidite.
