    Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The location couldn’t be better. Ylas very a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend this hotel.

    The location is a solid 10/10 since it is walking distance to all the attractions and since it is within the Hagia Sophia, it shares architectural similarities and an underground cistern that is now a restaurant. The ambience was always welcoming and staff were excellent. Thanks to Olga and Ulas for helping us store our bags while we traveled the rest of the country, and when we returned they helped us atore some additional bags so we could go shopping until our transfer arrived. Ulas helped us with the bags and golf cart “commuting” between the reception and the meeting point. One thing g to point out this property is spread out into 17 different buildings but a quick call to the front desk will have a golf cart ready if you’re not wanting to walk.

    Unbeatable Location + Phenomenal Service — A Hidden Gem in Istanbul's Heart

    If location is important to you when choosing a hotel in Istanbul — and it should be — look no further than Sophia Hagia Mansions. It is simply unbeatable.We stayed in the Standard King room and were thoroughly impressed. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. But honestly, the location is what will bring you back.Let us put it in perspective — you are literally 10 steps from the walls of Hagia Sophia. 3 minutes walk to the Basilica Cistern. 5 minutes to the Blue Mosque. 2 tram stops from the Grand Bazaar and 3 stops in the other direction to the Spice Market. You are right in the middle of everything Istanbul has to offer.As a Hilton Diamond member, breakfast was included. The choices were limited but well curated, and the service at breakfast was attentive and warm.But the moment that truly captured the hospitality here — when the front desk heard we were leaving at 5AM to catch our flight to Cappadocia and would miss breakfast, he immediately offered to pack breakfast for us. We politely declined. He then asked if he could at least pack coffee and tea into to-go cups for our early morning. We accepted, and it was such a thoughtful gesture. We have traveled extensively across Europe and the US and have never received that kind of offer anywhere. That is the difference here — genuine, heartfelt hospitality.Highly recommend Sophia Hagia Mansions without any hesitation. We would stay again in a heartbeat.     Great location, great rooms but...

    Location is amazing, rooms are great, service is nice, but :- Breakfast location is pretty gloomy (in a sort of cave), and food quite average. We ended up having breakfast for the rest of our stay at a pretigious 5* hotel nearby where service, food and surroundings were amazing.- Spa and gym closed (for renovation ? We were informed the day before our arrival)- Concierge very nice but booked a clearly underqualified guide for us (very weak french or english level - no knowledge of history at all). Second guide was OK compared to the first one, although not great. It felt more like a luxurious RB&B than a hotel.
