  Great place for longer stays

  Marvelous apartment were you can stay for longer periods in Istanbul. I needed a place for one week stay and it is perfect small apartment with all equipment you need. Management was extremely cooperative since I had a need for a special arrangement. Centrally, close to metro line that can take you directly to Ataturk Airport. Wonderful place!

  excellent location for business trip, no view, but nice room

  just two blocks from Osmanbey metro station, and situated in a comercial and boutique area of Nisantasi in Istanbul, I suggest this place as an ideal for a lonely traveller or business trip, sorrounded by many coffee shops, boutiques, entertainment and more. Room is perfectly clean, modern, chic, smart use of space with new furniture and good electronics, bathroom with nice amenities, no view but a terrace to other building, nice common area, elevator is little, but fast. Staff: VERY helpful and extremely nice, they made our stay! so thank you if you are reading this one!

  "Great place to stay in the middle of Istanbul

  Great location near the sights, boutiques,shops, restaurant, transport, sights, Manning Residence was memorable,. Staff were so helpful - especially with a nice upgrade in room & a surprise bunch of flowers on my 60th birthday ,thank you! We will definitely come back.

  The Manning Adventure

  During planning my trip to Istanbul this summer, I came by accident to see Manning residence on Booking.com. Most of the reviews were to the favor of the hotel. The only advantage I found is its location. However, after three days of hesitation and thinking and so many droughts from my wife, I decided to book two rooms in the Manning. Residence hotel. When we arrived to the hotel, we discovered that the hotel has no reception or loopy and has very tight entrance. The elevator hardly fit two persons and is very tight. Contrary to this scary introduction, the room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped . It has a kitchenette that includes plates, silver ware, microwave, kettle, espresso machine, and a mini refrigerator. The room also has a sofa and chair plus small table with two chairs for dinning. A flat screen TV and a small disk were also included. So it is more like a studio than a room. The bathroom was clean but with very poor amenities. We were told that the room will be cleaned twice a week. The hotel has a washing and drying facility in the top floor available for the guests free of charge. The location of the hotel is excellent around two hundred meters from Osman Bey metro station and also the bus stop. The area is nice and many food and shopping places are around. Taxim square is only one metro stop away (walkable distance). The hotel does not have a staff like any other hotel. During our stay (7 days) we saw only one person, Mis Meltem, who was very cooperative and friendly with good English speaking. We end up that they cleaned the room only once, changed the towels only once, never replenish the poor toiletries , and never collected the garbage. During our stay there was water cut off three times, one of them lasted six hours. This could be just bad luck. However, my Manning Residence overall was not bad and I would go back there if I decided to visit Istanbul again.
