    Sleep in your car! Not worth it!

    changed rooms twice. One was worse than the other. Kept having excuses for poor upkeep or LACK of upkeep of the rooms. See pictures. I ended up sleeping in my car.

    First let me tell you that the room was ok. A bit overpriced but ok. I won't go back, but it isn't so much the room, though it was not perfect. First it was difficult to find. I turned at the sign and it wasn't there. I went back to the main road and the gps sent me to the hotel next door. I eventually found the office only to find it empty with a sign sending me to the hotel next door. I went there and the sign on the desk told me to call if I was checking in because there was no one there either! She answered promptly but when she found out I was checking in to econo lodge she said we needed to go back to the other office. She admitted she did not really know the system and called someone but luckily, the room had already been assigned. I really did not appreciate having to run around. The lady from Days Inn was very nice and I don't blame her. We got to the room and everything worked fine. But it was obviously worn. There was spots were the paint was knocked off on every wall and the door to the bathroom was damaged but usable. Traffic could be heard from the highway. It did have a nice black out shade, a decent tv, refrigerator and microwave. The heater worked great! The smoke detector was disconnected and sitting on the sink. We went to the office the next day to turn in the key and guess what. No one was there. The sign said call if you need assistance.

    Nothing had been cleaned, the towels had been used previously and were dirty, and the rooms smelled of smoke. There are 6 people in my family and there weren't enough breakfast items out to allow each of us to have one thing, but after seeing what was available we didn't want to eat it anyway.

    Room was disgusting. Flies everywhere. Door lock was broken/ half missing like someone had kicked it in. Could not lock door.     The location felt shady, the room was no-smoking but had definitely been smoked in regardless, there were little bugs flying around, directly above where my head would be there was a cobweb above the bed, the smoke detector was on the counter, the door lock (which leads directly out into the parking lot was broken, and no trash can in the room.
