    BED BUGS & FLEAS! AVOID!

    Unfortunately our stay was marred by bed bugs and fleas (room 402, see photos attached of bugs and one bite of many). The room and bathroom were disgusting. Staff didn’t seem in the least surprised and just put on a ‘pretend to care’ face. We both got awfully bitten and received no compensation. We were offered a different room which was terrible. We also had no hot water for 3 days and non-existent Wifi. Very poor and disappointing attitude from staff. What’s worse is that the hotel owner knows all about the problem but does nothing which shows disrespect and contempt for paying guests.We are experienced travelers and have been on the road since 2021. This is by far the worst hotel we’ve come across. The management are rude and dishonest. If we wanted bed bugs and cold water, we could have stayed in a hostel and saved money. I urge you to look carefully at the reviews on Booking .com and you will see how many have had the same horrendous experience. The hotel is not fit for purpose and should be delisted and closed down for health and hygiene reasons

    Bed bugs and Ballyhoo a Below par experience This hotel has all the makings of a quirky local stay with a cute pool and views to die for but it sadly lacked some duty of care and TLC and was sub standard in the services advertised.There was a lack of enthusiasm from the staff who seemed to have difficultly raising a smile or indeed a hello. No warm welcoming here. Maybe they are tired of the guests complaintsWifi is almost non existent so bring your own IF you come!No hot water for the first 3 days. When we complained the reply was “ but it’s warm weather?The breakfast room is best described as a lean to green house that some may find just too uncomfortable due to the morning sun beating down on the mostly unshaded area. The food was in some cases tasty but could be considered basic.We experienced a power cut one day which rendered all guest without AC, running water, Wifi and the drone of the mechanical generator kicking in to keep the ship afloat.But the piece De resistance was the discovery of blood on the sheets and bed bugs in our room…. Not nice to be bitten whilst you sleep and I could elaborate on the subject but I’m sure you get the picture. The owners of the place must know how run down this place is but are obviously a bunch of chancers who seem to have plenty of takers. Don’t be one of them!

    My partner and I have just returned from a trip to Istanbul and we stayed in the HHK Hotel Downtown. The level of customer service we received from Orhan, Erdogan and Ahmet was truly five-star. Every request was met with promptness and professionalism, and their attention to detail was impeccable. They were always ready to assist us with any questions with a friendly attitude, making us feel right at home. Their local knowledge and willingness and organising a tour of the city help made our trip even more enjoyable.The hotel's rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The location was perfectly situated with its close proximity to the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque with easy access to all the major attractions.Overall, our stay in Istanbul was nothing short of perfect. The combination of the city's rich history, vibrant culture, and the outstanding hospitality we received made this trip unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting Istanbul and staying at this wonderful hotel. You won't be disappointed!

    I received excellent service from Muhammed and Regaip. The location and the breakfast was really great, I highly recommed and will come again for sure! Everything was working really well and had great time in Istanbul because of this great hotel. Thanks
