  Friendliest, welcoming, helpful staff I have had the luxury of meeting.The room was excellent, bed was comfortable, shower was refreshing free breakfast was amazing.Love Princess the cat, so gorgeous.

  At midnight on Friday, my wife, a group of friends, and I arrived at this hotel after traveling from Cappadocia. Just so everyone is aware, they operate three different establishments. When you make a reservation, you may not necessarily end up at this hotel. The three options are "Hotel Hippodrome, Apart Hotel Hippodrome, and Azade Suites." We were assigned five rooms and a family suite, with two of those rooms located in the basement of Azade Suites. My wife and I were assigned to one of the basement room. I was extremely tired and went straight to bed, but instead of a comfortable mattress, it felt like there was fine sand on it. At that moment, my wife noticed that the window was slightly open. As shown in the attached picture, the window faces a walking path. I then began to inspect the bed and discovered a dead insect and sand beneath the pillows.To make matters worse, the curtain didn’t fully cover the window, allowing anyone passing by on the road to see into the bedroom. We requested a different room the next morning because I couldn't bear the thought of sitting on the bed for the next two nights. After lunch, we were moved to another room. And yes, our friend at the other basement room was moved too.This situation is absurd, and it appears that other customers faced similar issues. My wife overheard someone at the front desk refusing the basement room.We advise prospective customers to inform the establishment of their preference regarding room assignments, specifically to avoid being allocated a basement room unless they have no objections to such accommodations.

  A good hotel but ruined by renovation works next door

  The hotel is a solid 3-star hotel. The double bedroom was nice, the staff friendly and professional and the breakfast area had views over the bosphorus. The reason it only gets 3 stars is the fact that they are renovating a hotel across the street late in the night and it is so noisy one cannot think or sleep. The first evening they stopped at midnight and the second night they ended at 03:00 in the morning. Hence we did not sleep.A special thanks to reception manager Sezgin who found my mobile phone in the reception area and returned it to me!

  The housekeeper is so friendly, the front desk receptionist are so kind and welcoming.The hotel is located in a very good location and is so close to The Blue Mosque and Ayasofya Mosque. All the working people in this hotel are so kind. And the hotel offers a very affordable tours around istambul.

  The hotel room is satisfactory, though the bathrooms are quite small. However, the service is exceptional, and the breakfast offered is excellent. The staff members are also very friendly and accommodating. A special mention to Mr. Sezbin and Mr. Yulvi, who were particularly helpful and went out of their way to assist us. My friends and I are truly grateful for their support.
