    I stayed here for one night and, to be honest, I was hoping for a slightly higher standard. I hold IHG Platinum status and received an upgrade from a standard room to a room with a sofa, which I do appreciate - but unfortunately, the overall quality of the room really missed the mark.First impression? The lobby looks very modern, and at that point I thought things were going to be great. Sadly, the moment I walked into the room, that impression vanished. The interior is very dated and clearly needs a full renovation - from the walls and furniture to the equipment, which has definitely seen better days. Several elements were damaged, and the cleanliness… Well, definitely below average. The lighting is poor, and there are no power outlets by the bed - which in 2025 feels almost unreal.The bathroom looks like something from an old Ibis. Worn out, outdated, and not very comfortable. Sure, there’s a large whirlpool tub, but the hydromassage barely works, the knobs are broken, the jets barely blow air, and some parts are rusty. Honestly, at moments I wondered whether it was safe to use at all.The biggest downside? The bed. The mattress really needs replacing - very uncomfortable, likely spring-based, so forget about a good night’s sleep. A decent foam HR mattress would make a world of difference. On top of that, the AC looks dirty, which doesn't inspire confidence either.My room faced the pool, and during the stay there was a constant, very loud noise coming from outside - something like ventilation systems or generators. Sleeping with that sound in the background was a struggle.Another issue: the pool. Despite the temperature being around 20°C and the information during booking that it would be available, it turned out to be closed. No one mentioned this in advance. That’s simply not how it should be handled.Wi-Fi? Logging in requires a room number and passport number, but the system didn't work. Reception had to enter some universal emergency details for me.To be fair - the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent. Lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants around, tram stop right next to the hotel, and it feels pretty safe in the area.Unfortunately, overall I’d rate the stay 4/10. The hotel has potential and the location is great, but the room standard falls far below today’s expectations and really needs modernization. If it weren’t for my status and the pleasant staff, the rating would likely be even lower.If I were here longer than one night, I would’ve requested a room change.     A good hotel not quite in the center of town

    This is a very good hotel. It's clean and comfortable, and the staff are excellent, particularly Ali Riza who is often on the front desk. The only possible negative is the location, but in reality this could be a positive. The neighborhood is quite traditional and very interesting. Also, a tram stops directly in front of the hotel and it goes to Sultanhamet and the Grand Bazar. Definitely recommended.     Good Hotel

    We had five nights at this hotel and highly recommend it. I wrote to the hotel prior to the stay and requested a higher floor away from the lift . On checking in this was noted and a great room at the end of the corridor was provided . This allowed for a good night's sleep in the very comfortable soft bed . Room was spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. All staff we interacted with at the hotel were excellent and very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a little out of town but has good connections with the tram into the centre. Only negative is that smoking is allowed in the rooms, so when walking to our room from the lift was not very pleasant. That said thankfully the smoke did not enter our room. A great hotel for a city break.     Good location to tram, train and restaurants and bars. Staff friendly and very helpful. Nice lobby bar. Breakfast good. Extremely small room. Shower unit floor uneven and very slippery. Bathroom really needs heating. Room feels a little dated.
