  My best meal was in the hotel...Iskender doner.

  The dish is a touch pricey, but wanted to lick the platter (ordered twice on my trip). The hotel was quiet (thin walls, depends on neighbors), the surrounding area is busy/noisy, but fairly central. Reasonable to walk. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful (most speak English). Well-appointed room, western-style toilet. (Just once, the toilet kept running/flushing, had to make 2nd call to front desk. If they do not respond in 5-10 min., call again--they forgot. Also would not rely solely on wake-up call.) Accommodating chefs.   Excellent stay, close to transportation.

  Stayed for 2 nights for my trip to Istanbul. Close to the train/metro station (Sogutlucesme) and other bus stops. The street it was on felt a bit sketchy at first because of the motorbike repair shops but overall it was fine. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms, lobby and hotel were very clean. Sufficient amenities, TV setting, comfortable bed, nice decoration. I’m pleased with my stay. The breakfast buffet was very abundant and delicious, definitely worth the price.   Amazing stay at the heart of Istanbul

  We had an amazing three-day stay at Holiday Inn Kadıköy Hotel with a group of our guests who travelled all the way from Europe for our wedding (a Turkish girl marrying an Italian in the magical city Istanbul) in June. Starting from the beginning, when I contacted them with possible group reservation options, the staff immediately took action and gave us the best price possible. I know that very well because I contacted so many of the chain hotels in the area 😊The whole process has been perfectly smooth for me, who never had to book a hotel for 50 people and deal with other details of the wedding as the groom wasn’t speaking any Turkish so was no help, thanks to the staff; I cannot thank those who have been so professional, so friendly, and so helpful. You had to see the check-in of around 20 people at once without even a slight problem, which tells how meticulously they worked. We had arranged the transfers from the airport ourselves, but if you need, they can help you with that, too. The location of the hotel, five minutes walk to Söğütlüçeşme Marmaray and Metrobus stops, made it exceptionally easy to move 50 people around the city to show them a bit of our beautiful Istanbul. Another great thing about the hotel was the comfort of its rooms. I was already expecting it to be clean and relatively new, but all the guests praised their rooms more than a few times, which clearly shows their satisfaction. When it comes to breakfast, everyone left the hotel each day totally full and satisfied with the delicious and precious Turkish breakfast. They were also very well informed about the restaurants around the neighbourhood and suggested one for us to have a pre-wedding dinner the day before, and of course, it was a big success! Good quality Turkish kebap and mezes for our lovely foreign guests. I don’t even wanna mention the great gifts they left for us in the room, the newlyweds because it would be too much 😊 I am sure I missed a few other great points, but overall, I can say that it was a flawless experience for us, so highly recommended!
