    Overall just your average hotel. The rooms weren’t that amazing and ultimately just sort of the basic room. Although decent location if you want to be able to see the blue mosque. The breakfast was a low for me as well, little variety within the food and some was cold and stale. Would recommend if you are planning to sight see all day and not spend too much time within the room.

    The room is tiny, the bed big and comfortable, pillow lumpy. There is a notice that you must wear a mask in this hotel, but noone does. The lift is tiny with mirrors, to confuse you. Breakfast was okay with nice scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bread, pastries. There is instant coffee, but you can ask for Turkish coffee.

    This is the 2nd time that I spend some nights at Coliseum Hotel Istanbul. It's perfectly located behind Sultanahmet. The room is comfotable and clean and the area is not a noisy area so . The manager is very helpful giving you reliable info .. so what else?

    Awful service and very bad breakfast. The rooms are cold and the receptionist did not help at all and was in a very bad mood. There is no safe for putting money and they do not give enough water as written in hotel discription in Booking.com. I would not recommend this place to any people and will write bad review about them. They shouted at me and say that all 'Uzbeks" are not respectful. They have racism to our nation! Shame on you!

    On our transit from Canada to Jordan we had few days to spend in Istanbul. We selected the Hotel coliseum, located in the historical quarter of Istanbul. The facility is a quite and relatively clean boutique hotel located in close proximity of major tourist landmarks, few steps to the famous blue mosque, Aya Sofia, top cape bazaars and plenty diners. Extremely friendly owner.Rooms are a bit small but it’s excellent value for money. An absolute come back!
