    The overriding pluses for this hotel is the amazing location and the excellent professional and friendly staff. We spent three nights at this hotel during a weekend break to a very beautiful but wet, windy and misty, Istanbul. As I’d previously mentioned, the location could not be faulted, insomuch as within easy walking distance to most major attractions, ferries and public transport (which is excellent). The surrounding restaurants are plentiful and we visited one in particular twice, the Greenhill, a three or four minute walk up the hill. Try it!That’s the pluses covered, now we come to a few negatives! The hotel is, in our opinion a poor ish three stars in that our bedroom, although clean, could really have done with some tlc. The bathroom door needed replacing and, unfortunately, like quite a few toilets in Istanbul, toilet seat fixings always seem to be loose or in need of serious maintenance, as did the base of the wardrobe. For a couple in there late seventies, who consider themselves reasonably fit, getting in and out of the shower required a fair bit of bravery and dexterity, a challenge indeed.The breakfast wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very good. You need to get there early for the fresher items, although, like all the other staff, at the hotel, they were friendly and helpful. The views, especially if the weather had been better, from the rooftop, are amazing, looking out over the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus.Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay in Istanbul, weather accepted, but we probably wished we’d paid a bit more for our accommodation and investigated the Hotel Fehmi Bay, a bit more before booking.

    This was our second time staying in Fehmi Bey. We really like that hotel for the great personal, best location, breakfast.

    We stayed at this hotel from Monday - Friday , there was 7 of us staying here, we asked Tui for all rooms to be. On the same floor , but we wasn’t one was on the fourth floor and other were on two and three floors , we got some moved as they were not suitable for them , we had room 220 which was good and a good view of the blue mosque from the bed room 121 didn’t have hot water the whole time we was there, the other rooms were ok , some of staff were very friendly some wasn’t, breakfast was good it was served between 7:30 and 10:30 no kettles in rooms so take your own , bottle water provided every day , and clean towels we would definitely go back there but we ask for the room for 5 people

    Me and My family stayed there for almost a week. The location was very close to all tourist places specifically blue mosque grand bazaar etc. Rooms were neat and clean with all necessary facilities including Air condition and heating system. The size of the room was perfect. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was great and variety of food was excellent with a beautiful view of city and specially blue mosque. My family loved the place . It was value for money. I will recommend this place and whenever I will go to Istanbul, I would stay there for sure. All the best Fehmi bey

    Exec Room didnt have a working shower. Public areas of hotel really grubby. Reception stank of cigarette smoke. Staff quite grumpy or said the right things when concerns raised but did nothing. Resembles a poor hostel. Breakfast basic but ok.
