  Experience was disappointing and not what we expected for the price

  We booked a family room at Hotel Fresia for four nights and arrived around 1:00 AM. Unfortunately, the room was far below expectations. It had a musty, unpleasant odor and did not resemble the photos uploaded by the hotel of the rooms. There was no curtain on the window and the noise from the garbage truck outside was clearly heard. The shower was dirty, and the showerhead was broken with water coming out unevenly. The towels and bed linens were also dirty. The location of the hotel was very good, which was a positive aspect. We were told the accommodation would consist of two rooms separated by a door with proper beds. While the double bed was acceptable, the additional beds were foldable camping cots, which were completely unsuitable for a hotel stay. We raised the issue with the reception, who kindly allowed us to modify our booking. We paid for one night and decided to move to another hotel the following morning. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not what we expected for the price.

  Horrendous place and even worse staff who are completely useless and thugs-like attitude. Noisy rooms, pungy smell, broken HVAC. had to abandon the hotel after the first night. I’ve traveled the world and never had such a bad experience.

  THIS HOTEL IS A FULL SCAM. 1. This is the dirtiest most disgusting place I’ve been to. There are fleas, the bed and carpet are full of stains like vomit or blood, there is no running water at times so you can’t shower or flush your toilet, the bathrooms are full of mold with hairs and nails in them. 2. There is no AC or any weather control in the rooms. Whatever they offer is not there and is not working. 3. The elevator doesn’t work most of the time. 4. The noise is awful. There are bars directly below the hotel and they play loud music all night long. 5. The area while close to Istiklal is horrid. There are terrible smells garbage everywhere, and there is no way to be dropped off close to the hotel in a taxi or transport, so expect to walk up the hills with luggage. This was a horrible experience I don’t wish upon anyone. This hotel is a scam and not well represented. We were supposed to stay for three nights but could only take two and then found another hotel. We took the financial hit and we’re not refunded even though we had all of the problems listed above happen.

  Noisy and dirty

  Positive points are the size of the rooms, the kind staff and the location. Unfortunately their are a lot more negative points. Especially during the weekends the location is very noisy due to bars and restuarants. It is impossible to sleep well. The cleaning of the rooms is below standard. Remote control of the televsion are missing and in one room even the television was missing. You have to ask for extra toilet paper and soap.

  It's 5 a.m in the morning the music is so loud like they are in playing our 2cond floor room.. I read the comments after our arrive because someone else did the booking for us.. my causent was complaining for the noise but because I sleep easy and heavy and after all that walking all day I didn't notice... they should consider all the negative comments and put double and soundproof windows or eventually no customers will be left.... reception very kind and helpful but they also should provide us earplugs and inform for all these.... we asked to clean the room on our 3d day of arrival... they just did the bed and change the towels nothing else even a glass of coffe i put in the sink was untouched dirty... we asked for toilet paper and an extra face towel..
