    Ehh. Put up here by the hair clinic. Nothing around. In an industrial area. Hotel 3 star at best. Breakfast lacking. Just an ok experience About $79 per night i stayed 1 extra night to recoup. Better hotels around for same price. Towels all shredded

    An acceptable compromise if travelling on a budget

    We ended up/stranded at the Hotel Golden Way Giyimkent as part of a package.Although traces of wear and tear can be found, it was clean and fully functional.The food & beverage “portfolio” is basic – but we found a good escape in the nearby Ramazan Bingöl Et Lokantasi restaurant.Some of our group made use of Istanbul’s impressing good public service accessible by the nearby metro, M7 station.We opted for Uber, that comes for € 15-20 one way.Ok, as friendly as Turkish people are on a private level – they seem to change as soon as they get into the “hospitality industry”.Over all, an acceptable compromise if traveling on a budget.

    This hotel is NOT 4 stars. 2 or 3 at most. Very worn out and dated. The reception was friendly. Room was ok, floors were not clean, parts where it was sticky and found pistachios shells laying around. Bathroom has a dodgy smell, everything is old. The bed was good, linen great but the pillows were all of different makes and sizes. The tv in the room did not work, the air conditioning did not work and the telephone did not work; so wasn’t able to call reception because of very loud guests that seemed to be throwing a party as 1am. The staff does not comprehend English at all (but that’s a trait for Turkey). The breakfast…skip it, it is a joke, can’t even begin to describe it. Only stayed here because it was part of a hair transplant package. Tip: if you can, stay somewhere else, the location is awful, there are NO cafes, restaurants or convenience anywhere close.

    Extremely disappointed with the hotel manager behavior. Could not believe the hotel hire the manager with 0 service mindset. My hair dryer was not working and they sent a person to fixed it. It was not fixed properly and a manager came just to force me and threaten me to take the room with a grumpy face like I asked him to stay at the hotel free of charge. The cleanliness is not good. Refer to the pictures. If you're looking for a hotel to stay in Istanbul, just avoid this one. For the hotel management who may happen to read this review. I stay on the night of Friday 3 Jan 2025. And the worst acting manager was in charge that night a tall skiny guy. Go figure.

    Me and my wife stayed here as part of a package to get my hair surgery.The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly and helpful We had breakfast in hotel and it was ok did it’s job but was no toasterThe hotel has nice lobby for chilling in but strangely has no bar but as the hotel is used by hair surgery guests I’m assuming this is why
