    Is a good location worth the worst service?

    If you’re thinking about booking a room in this hotel, be extra careful of leaving your stuff in the room. Some of my things just “vanished” in the last 4 days that I’ve stayed here and the staff couldn’t be more uninterested. Overall, the hotel is in a good location. The price for breakfast is €15 per morning, which is far more than eating in any coffee shop/ restaurant near the place.

    This hotel purports to be four stars but it's far from four start quality. In fact, it was quite strange. There were many little problems but the worst was breakfast. They said breakfast was at 7:30. When I came down to the breakfast room, there was nothing. When I asked about it, they said that they hadn't yet prepared! They then quickly started to throw something together for me - and it was not very good. Totally unprofessional. The room was OK but the internet in the room and the lobby didn't work. There was an expresso maker in the room but no capsules. When I asked at the desk they said they would send, but that they also charge me for each capsule. They also charge for the water bottles in the room, which has been complimentary at other hotels in Istanbul. I had my hosts switch me to a different hotel, which was MUCH better.

    Epic scam! Be aware!

    The very rude receptionist (Irfan) wanted to scam us to pay almost 500€ more for a prepaid room. It's even more funny that though we are actually owners of a travel agency and we personally confirmed reservation over a month ago with our hotel supplier, and they made contact with hotel immediately, though hotel still wanted extra payment. Just lol.

    The hotel has an excellent location and that is all. It advertises itself as a 4 star hotel, but it's a 2 star hotel at best. While on my honeymoon, I was scared for my wife's and my own safety staying there... after only four hours. Minor Problems: The elevator doesn't work and most of the services listed are not available. When we got to our room there was no hand soap, the hair dryer smoked when turned on, and there was hair all over the floor and bed. When we went to the front desk, the attendant told us all of the problems were fine, and he got angry that we complained. After much debate about the lack of soap, the attendant solved the problem by giving us a bottle of liquid dish soap from the staff room and told us not to bother him again. I asked if we could change to an equivalent room or an upgrade because of all the problems and he said no or you can rebook for $500 more per night. Again these are the minor problems. Major Problems: I later went down to let him know that there were no batteries in the tv remote only to find three men counting cash at a table in the lobby. The attendant told me I was becoming a problem, and that if I had any more issues, I should call instead of coming to the desk because it is dangerous. The implication was that these gangsters counting the cash ran the hotel, and I was making him look bad. He then pointed to a bandage on his arm and shushed me away. As I went back to my room, the electricity went out on our floor. I called the front desk 4 times over the next hour to no answer. At this point, I no longer felt safe and found a new hotel a few minutes away. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I've never written a review for anything, but I though you should be warned about this scam of a hotel.

    The location of the hotel is a good one, but that is the only thing that is good, the rooms get to be cleaned in the afternoon therefore of you go to the hotel for a nap you find the room not cleaned, the apertures are far away then noise resistant as expected to be in a city centre hotel, with the nouse in the street you hear it all in the room and you cannot sleep. The breakfast is very cheap and if you take a capuccino you will have to pay for it. By the way even the water that they provide you in the room you have to pay for it. Be careful what they leave you in the minibar because they will charge you for things that you didn’t take aswell. The hotel is like sleeping in a guest house with no amenties at all, so its not worth it to pay the money to stay here, aspecially when staying in other hotels in turkey and you have an incredible service that you will dream for in all europe. Not again in my hole life
