    Good price for a night stay and low medium level accommodation.At reception was very helpful the night shift man I think the only one with fluent English.Service breakfast very poor, eggs have been served expired already I think cooked like 2 days ago. Careful!!!

    Great hotel! Really nice and right off the Main Street in Istanbul. Would recommend for any type of trip for a central hotel location with good places to eat and lots of kebab places nearby. The front desk is nice and helpful and speaks some English.

    For ~$50 USD, Hotel Residence Istanbul has a great location, just off Istiklal in the very busy “new” part of the city. Staff was friendly & available to answer questions, etc. And it felt safe. It’s a true 3-star, which works fine for me!

    The hotel has a magnificent location because is a block away from Istiklal which is a pretty busy street (comparing with times Square - NYC) . The police station is in the opposite corner of the hotel, so I guess it's pretty secure around there.The breakfast is HORRIBLE, however the staff is friendly and helpful. Just don't expect a 5 start hotel.

    Hotel is very clean and comfy rooms. You don't need anything more than what they have to offer. Buffet breakfast is the same every morning, but it's a good meal to start your day. Location is perfect!! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful!! Thank you for a good stay!!
