    Spectra is an excellent choice for Istanbul

    If you want an immersive accommodation experience in Istanbul, Hotel Spectra is ideal. Situated right on the corner of Sultanahmet Square, you're 20 seconds away from the Sublime Blue Mosque, a few minutes walk from the unmissable Hagia Sofia and the Topkapi Palace. It's also close to the essential tram line that'll take you to the waterfront and across the Galata Bridge. The hotel has amazing breakfasts and exceptionally friendly staff, who'll organise anything for you. And the price is reasonable. We found out about it from a relative who'd stayed there, and the staff said many of their bookings come from word of mouth.

    Great 5 day trip in Istanbul!

    We went in the middle of march, during the Ramadan festivities. We were well received at our arrival and lots of activities were offered to us by the manager, though we did not take them. We booked the economic room with a double bed, which was very confortable and the bed was larger than a queen, but smaller than a king. We did not have a view, but we could see a bit of the Blue Mosque from the left window, which was nice. The room in general was normal, charming and cleaned everyday. Water bottles were offered in the room. The bathroom was modern, but the toilet was too close to the wall, which was a little inconfortable. The windows were very soundproof, but the inside walls were not. We could hear every mouvement coming from the other rooms around and above us. There is also no air ventilation in the room and the bathroom. We could however open the windows easily but it was too noisy outside.The Spectra hotel was very charming, cozy and very well placed. The breakfast with the view on the Blue Mosque was superb, delicious and many types of food were offered! We had a 10% discount on lunch and diner. The staff was very friendly and helped us book our taxi to go to the airport on our last day. Overall, we had a great experience!

    We had wonderful experience at Hotel Spectra in Istanbul! The hotel's proximity to iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia adds to its appeal.     The Hotel is in a great location.Near the Blue Mosque and Haig Sophia. The Grand Bazaar is a short walk away as is most attractions. The staff at Hotel Spectra were friendly. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We were a little disappointed to find the roof terrace under renovation soon to be opened. This did not detract from our stay.

    I was really impressed with the interpersonal feel to our 2 night stay, compared to what I’d expect from a hotel chain.The room was clean, good value and the people working last weekend were very welcoming and really looked after us. I’d recommend to anyone.
