    Great Service, But Disappointing Overall Experience

    I recently stayed at this hotel and while the customer service was genuinely good, I unfortunately cannot say the same about the overall experience. The staff were polite, helpful, and did their best to assist throughout my stay — which I truly appreciated.However, I was quite disappointed with other aspects, particularly the breakfast, which was well below expectations in terms of both quality and variety. It felt like an afterthought rather than a part of the hospitality experience.Although the service was a positive point, I personally would not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others. There are other options available that provide a better balance between service and overall experience.

    The perfect choice

    I stayed at this hotel very recently on a solo city break. It is located in a quiet, non-touristy area, but with good connections to all kinds of transportation. There are plenty places to eat, cafes and market stores in the neighborhood. There are also 2 important tourist attractions nearby: the old Byzantine Walls and a mosque by the great architect Sinan. The rooms are small, but clean and the breakfast served is very good. They have a kind, helpful and attentive staff, for whom no effort is too big. They even surprised me with a present on my birthday. Definitely great value for money!

    The right choice

    It is a well-kept and well-managed property with friendly and helpful staff. Located in a peaceful neighborhood, the hotel has a high sleeping quality. The breakfast was of satisfactory quality too. The room was clean, but the toilet needed some repair. The property is located near a bus terminal, metrobus line, a metro station, and two tramway stations; therefore, the access to it is very easy. Some local restaurants are located nearby, offering budget dishes.I found it the right choice.     I stayed in the hotel last year, staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but there isn’t much else.The area is very nice, close to all transportation links and the shopping area in Topkapi AlperTorun, Sahibi at Hotel Torun Istanbul Old City, responded to this review Thank you for your comment, we wait again.

    Good Value Budget Hotel

    The Hotel is well located for easy access to IST Airport or Bus Station; with only a 300m walk to Tram line. Also, many decent eateries and small grocery market stores in the neighborhood. Rooms themselves are small, but clean and reasonably comfortable for a Budget Hotel. The Owner is very friendly and hospitable. Recommended for short stays in transit.
