    Excellent location, clean rooms and fantastic food

    We keep returning to this hotel because its location is excellent, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the food is fantastic. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel so far – we have visited it several times, and each time the breakfast amazed me. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant, and the portions were really generous, while the food was very tasty. All compliments!

    I used the family room, and encountered my first disappointment: we arrived late at night, tired, with a lot of suitcases, the bellboy didn't even come, supposedly he was busy in the cafe at the hotel reception ???? I was totally disappointed, and after that the good things kept coming: perfect room, exceptional breakfast, incredibly friendly staff at the reception... That's why I can't give this hotel all 5 stars, they need to fix the shortcomings....

    The bed was as comfortable as mine at home ..it felt as if I was at home and not in a hotel..the hotel staff are all welcoming.Mr Mustafa at the reception was very brilliant he solved all our problems just a phone call away we requested for a ironing board and iron and it was on its way.. brilliant response..the whole team including the cleaners and restaurant staff were all hardworking staff doing their jobs with passion and dedication ..always smiling..the hotel had a good decor and interior rooms and bathroom very clean all other amenities good to standard..thanks again ibis merter see you all again we had a wonderful stay at this hotel..I stayed in room 512 for a few days ..lovely views from the windows as well the daily hustle and bustle life of Istanbul

    When I initially read the reviews I was a bit hesitant but I shouldn't have been. It was great value for money. The staff are excellent and the food in the restaurant is good. Chefs are brilliant lots of choice for breakfast including live cooking eggs and omelette. Beautiful pastries and great attention to detail. The hotel is very clean and well looked after. The spa is nice but pool disappointing it really needs attention but wasn't a huge deal for us. We travel a lot around the world and are not easily impressed but Ibis Styles Merter did particularly impress us. We were served many nights by very attentive restaurant staff Hakip and Islam who were very good and very attentive on all occasions. I would really like to express though that Islam being a young man is very polite and thinks of absolutely everything he is very customer focused with a great personality and a real credit to Ibis. This young man did not stop he is very hard working but nothing was ever too much for him he was focused on quality and delivering exceptional service so although I say Thank You to all staff I would really like to send a message to Islam , you are an exceptionally talented young man and it was a pleasure for us to meet you. You will go very far in life if you treat the rest of you're life with the great respect you have for delivering outstanding customer service. Well done you are a bright star with an amazing attitude and we Thank You very much. Thank you all, we will return again soon.

    I could say this is one of the best hotels avaible in Istanbul.The location is just great. It is very close to the public transport. But if you would like to have a lazy day you can easily find a lot of restaurants and shops in the area.As for the staff, they are very helpful and professional. I stayed at many hotels in Istanbul. Unfortunately sometimes in this busy city it is a bit difficult to see the people smile.
