  Very noisy, nowhere near IST airport

  When I booked this hotel I entered IST airport as the main search parameter, my taxi from IST to the hotel cost the equivalent of $20 and over 30 minutes. Unfortunately my flight into IST had been delayed 4 hours and upon arrival I was told my room had been 'freed up' at midnight. Somewhat surprisingly they had managed to relet my room in the hour before I arrived. I was told my only option was a family room at literally twice the price, no discount offered on a room that was only obviously not going to be sold to anybody else. The room itself was at the front of the hotel which was on a 6 lane highway with insessant traffic noise throughout the night. My flight was early evening so I asked about a late check out, 15.30 instead of 12.00. Was explained maid normally finished at 15.00, so I expected to pay for say up to an hours wages. The precise amount I cannot recall but it was totally outrageous, especially given my 2 previous Turkish hotels let me extend a few hours for free. But given my lack of sleep I paid. The hotel is not in a particularly attractive part of town, but there are a few cafes nearby, a barbers and an internet cafe. After taking into account 2 taxi fares, room rate, late check out fee I could have stayed at lot nicer hotel, close to IST, lesson learned!   Not close to the new Istanbul airport

  This hotel was recommended as being close to the Ataturk Airport . As of the first of April Atiturk airport is no longer open and the Istanbul Fair hotel is an easy 40 Minutes away without traffic. The hotel staff are helpful, the sandwich shop down stairs that provides breakfast is nice. But if you are booking here to be close to the airport you may want to look at other choices.   We stayed there between two flights. Have a smiling and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Easy reaching to/from Atatürk International Airport. Neat place, neat rooms. Highly recommended if you are searching for a place with reasonable prices. Price include breakfast.   Comfortable hotel and location

  My room upsize as a compliment, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thanks to my beloved @imdat who find this hotel for me, they clean room everyday, have kettle for tea and coffee, near from metro bus station (besyol) not until 5 minute walking, easy to find meal and snack , many restaurant and all brand mini market near from hotel ... for 9 days I already have favorites restaurants and mini market 😁 İstanbul Fair Hotel, Owner at Istanbul Fair Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your amazing review!
