  Excellent Hotel and Staff"

  As Everyone know, istanbul is big city and first of all it was important for me location. The hotel was the best location in the Istanbul. It was near Yerebatan Sarinci( one of important historical place in the SultanAhmet) This is one of the best hotels we stayed in. Room was large . The room was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. They answer all of my questions. Even, they help to find me tours for diferent cities. The lobby was nice and clean. Breakfast area was large and delicious.   Amazing location and friendly staff

  We are with friends in the hotel. Hotel is cleaned enough, they have terrace with amazing view. Staff is enough helpful, each floors has their own internet connection and location iş perfecctoooo.   Good hotel in istanbul

  Nice hotel and location in a beautiful street and close to Sultan Ahmed and Hagia Sophia, Staff is very nice and friendly, and the apartments are big, clean and the service is good.   Regarding the restaurant great service!

  We had a fantastic lunch...Great food and fantastic prices..A great variety of food...but the most interesting was the bread soup!Fantastic!!Everything was done just fresh in minutes...and you can just relax and see the street with tourists going around. The area is fantastic. .just walking distance from everything important in sulthanahmetThank you very much

  I spent 5 days at this hotel arriving at night after a long flight, I booked through Booking.com. 1st con....elevator out of order, and judging from previous reviews has been for awhile. I had to walk up 54 stairs to my room on the 4th floor, I have physical limitations. Stairwell narrow and winding, lights are motion so if you aren't constantly moving you are in the dark. Room nice size, as pictured, clean with a small balcony where you can get a glimpse of the blue Mosque and a glimmer of the sea. 2nd con, No kitchenware! Has small fridge, stovetop and washer, both of which I doubted were even hooked up. Bathroom nice size, but tub small and about 2 1/2 ft high to get into. Never received cleaning services, but had to help myself to towels, sheets and toilet paper as needed from lockers on 1st & 2nd floors. Note, those lockers blocked the fire escape door, I would not like to be on those floors. Ac was good!Breakfast served from 8-10 consisting of boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, bread and tea/coffee. I never saw any fruit or juices offered. There are water and drinks offered for sale.Establishment allowed me to charge my dinners but wanted cash for the hotel stay, tried to tell me the machine was broken.....dude we just used it! Took 3 days to settle bill with credit care in Turkish lira, that left a bad taste in my mouth.Meals were sparse, ordered chicken, wings and lamb chops...... tasty but served either with rice, fries or just tomatoes, beet spirals and raw onion too fill up the plate. They say the specialize in fresh fish and did have a display up with sea bass, sea bream and giant prawns. I ordered the prawns and asked that they be cooked in butter and garlic. I received a dish of tiny shrimp done in butter and garlic and 1 large prawn on a plate with lettuce tomatoes, no rice although requested! I also ordered a large salad which consisted of more iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots and a few olives. I was disappointed no doubt but I took the offering and added the shrimp to the salad. They did decrease the price of the because I was not satisfied. Note to self.....I would avoid all salads as I believe they are washed with tap water and I had a case of Montezuma's revenge the next day. Had some antibiotic with me to take care of that. I stuck to chicken wings after that. I did go out for dinner elsewhere 1night and it was a sparse plate as well.Location....big pro! Down the street from the Basilica Cistern and sultanhemet square. Sonia Hague and the Blue Mosque all within walking distance. Hop on hop off buses and tram and lots of restaurants. This made up for the lack of amenities. They did try to move me to their hotel around the corner but I looked it up and it had an elevator but no balcony, a must for me, so I endured the stairs. So your kind of over a barrel. The staff were very pleasant although tried to be intimidating, in my opinion, there were 3 of them around when I was trying to settle my bill, although none spoke english. Good thing I'm not the intimidating type. Room service was available but watch your bill as it is not descriptive and an attempt to overcharge can occur. WiFi good for the most part but did go out 1 evening. As I said, you're kind of over a barrel but overall not a bad place to stay if you can endure its shortcomings.
