  WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!

  This hotel is clearly a very low-budget hotel but I would highly recommend you to spend a bit more and avoid it because it is not worth the meagre savings. The hotel has 5 floors with no lifts, if you're not able to regularly go up and down floors for the duration of your visit avoid this hotel (elderly/physically disabled/pregnant). Also, the staff do not know any English at all so make sure you have a translator ready on your phones.The front desk was a small table and when checking the hotel manager was trying to take pictures of our passport and when I confronted him he was displeased! It was clearly a breach of privacy! (I don't mind taking details as all hotels do but taking pictures was excessive)The rooms were filthy and there was no daily room service as you would normally expect from a hotel so the floors were not swept and the bedding was not changed once. There was also no sunlight coming through despite being on the bottom floor as there was a building blocking any views. The walls were very thin and literally made out of styrofoam which meant you could hear everything and there was no sound dampening and made it very difficult to sleep at night since you can hear everything from the front desk to the road cleaner on the streets. There was also mold growing in the upstairs room which was disgusting and a massive issue to health for anyone sleeping there!There were a few issues that happened during our stay with the weak bathroom showerhead falling apart and the curtains falling down. When I mentioned this to the hotel manager he was mad at me as if it was our fault. This is not the kind of service you expect from a hotel. The last straw that broke the camels back was when we were left without power from 3 am to 9:30 am. We could not sleep, could not use the toilet, could not shower. It was genuinely the worst hotel experience. There were no emergency lights so we had to use our own phone lights going up and down the stairs. The hotel manager claimed the power outage was street wide despite the other building all having their lights turned on so that was clearly a stone cold lie. It was so bad we checked out early and checked into another hotel nearby to escape this hellish nightmare. A hotel should have some back up power/generator to provide a service. When we were packing our bags and moving out the receptionist at the time (his helper) was on his phone the entire time so he did not notice the several luggage we were moving down the stairs so when I came back to give back the keys to check out early he was surprised.It was utterly ridiculous that we were left without power and despite checking out early because of the power outage we received no compensation or partial refund! I would recommend that you stay away from this hotel as you would only be throwing money away.

  Spent one night here. Good location near Metro but a walk from the main sites. You can bus/Metro to sites. Dorm room was small but clean. Fan doesn’t hit upper bunksBreakfast offers a lot of food but nothing amazing. No social area beyond the dining area so you're unlikely to meet other guests. There are a few restaurants and shops in the area.

  A great place to stay, the hotel is close to public transport to the major attractions but you can also walk, which we did the first day to explore the neighborhood.Service is good, when we checked out we were able to store our luggage and even got help arranging taxi to the airport (he even got us a discount).Free breakfast is lovely and the terrace is open till midnight so you can chill and get yourself some complementary coffee tea and water.All and all a hotel that offers great value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

  An amazeballs stay

  A very good hospitality & manager/staff were lovely. Near to the tram, metro. The room was comfortable and clean, the air conditioner worked beautifully. Nearby the Blue Mosque, walking distance to the nearby eatery, shops, salon/barber, turkish delights shop & etc. Will definitely come back!

  BEST hostel in Istanbul!

  I’ve stayed in quite a few hostels this year and none of them can beat the quality of this one. The hotel manager has been very accommodating by helping me carry my suitcases up the stairs and provided extra pillows for me which was important because I was healing from facial plastic surgery. The breakfast has a lot of fresh fruits and delicious meats and cheeses and was very satisfying. The internet and AC both work which is a non-negotiable for me and the main terrace area is kept clean and inviting. I liked that the beds were comfortable enough and the location is close to restaurants and main attractions but best of all the prices are kept reasonable. I’ll be keeping this place in mind when I return to Istanbul
