  This hotel was terrible. The photos and reality is day and night. The ventilation system sends smokes from other rooms feom smookers. I ended up having strong allergy reaction for the first time. It smelled like cigarette the full stay. The toilet was incline side ways. The wifi disnt work from our room and was terrible from the loby. Towels with holes. Walls were damaged with paint falling off. Bathroom was dirty and the shower was missing the doors and was leaking all over the floor. It was terrible. Even the staff recommended to not stay here in the future. The owner doesnt care. We asked to get a credit for this terrible room and he didnt care less.

  wawoo view while having breakfast

  That was my first stay at this nice hotel.the best is the view from the restaurant on the roof.my room had a partly view to the sea.the staff is really really nice and cooperative.and a good English (since sometimes this could be a problem in Turkey). only one problem..I didn't like the shower ( very old )

  .This is a very good place to stay , with brilliant views of the Bosphorus, especially from the (French) restaurant at the top. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice. Good staff, with an outstanding receptionist, Mutlu, who speaks English and is quite extraordinarily helpful to visitors. There is a price to pay for that view, though, since the hotel is on a very steep street which could pose problems for some.

  Just like Istanbul, this hotel comprises a lot of conflicting things. Take location for example. On one hand, the location on the map is very good, it is on a quiet street next to a park and at the same time close enough to many major attractions. On the other hand, you have to walk a very high slope to get to the hotel, which can be very tiring on a hot summer day. On another hand, this high slope awards you with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus from the terrace, where you would have the breakfast. The breakfast is typical Turkish: simple, fresh and healthy. The rooms are old but has the adequate facilities for a decent visitor. The service that you get from the reception is on the other hand much better than what you get from the rooms. Once, the manager has even drove me to the closest main street as I was not able to get a taxi to come and get me from the hotel. In conclusion, I would recommend the hotel if you are not expecting a lot from the room and if you are on a relaxed schedule.

  Friendly hotel and perfect view

  This place is in the middle of town but the moment you step in, you feel somehow very relaxed. At the roof, there is restaurant serves perfect french food and magnificent view of Bosphorus and the sunset over Istanbul. The stuff of hotel is very friendly, you really feel like you are at home. La maison endeed.
