  The worst hotel!

  The most disgusting hotel! We travelled by agency so we don’t know how much it costs, but the conditions there are awful. We arrived early in the morning and started to check in. First we were given a room withOUT windows that smells a lot as cigarettes. We asked for another room with window and had to wait 5 hours at the cold reception for available room. At noon we asked if some room has been cleaned and finally checked in. The room smelled awful, the sheets and towels were disgusting, the bathroom and the water smelled awful too. The staff is rude and unwelcoming. After seeing the room we didn’t even think about having a breakfast there we just looked at it and it was disappointing. The bathroom was leaking to the room, because it wasn’t actually separate room, but just two glass pieces in the bedroom making some kind of bathroom. It is also very noisy like the window was opened but it wasn’t. The worst experience ever! Unfortunately hated Istanbul because of this hotel!

  Before sharing anything with my fellows of the travelling club I had to make it clear that if you need more recent reviews about Laleli Blue Marmaray Hotel you should also check the reviews under Marmaray Hotel (without Laleli Blue) because there is where I found my review wrote at the end of November 2022, which I reproduce as follows:I am actually writing from the reception lobby because I refused to be checked in. The room I was supposed to spend my night hasn't got a window, which, I believe, is against any safety regulations. More than that, when I visited my sons' room I was in a total awe of the fact that the fire sprinkler is above the TV set. I let you draw the conclusions. And for the sake of political correctness I have to mention that the rooms I am talking about are 3010 and 3001. During my stylistic striving my cousin has got a nature' s call just to find out that there aren't any toilets anywhere near the reception lobby. She has been sent to - 2, but the toilet is nowhere to be find. I have repeated the operation seek and do whatever you need to do and EVRIKA!!! I find it in a store room. Thanks be to God and to the moving sensors (and the fact I happen to be more adventurous in obscure places) or else I would have missed it too. I believe I am entitle to say that one star is quite generous. What I am sure of is I definitely won't forget this experience for the rest of my days.To end it in a better tone I must add that the next day we were given an acceptable room (with a window of course). I can vouch for at least some of the bad reviews I read on the section Marmaray Hotel (which is the other name for Laleli Blue Marmaray). If you are not picky LALELI BLUE MARMARAY HOTEL may be an option after considering all the given details.

  The worst hotel I have ever stayed

  - No sonor insulation! You can hear everything from the neighbor room even from outside. There is a bar in front of the hotel.- No radiator, no system to heat the room!- Not enough cabinet in the room and in the bedroom. - Very complicated to get into the room with a baby trolley. You have to take 2 different lifts and there is stairs in between.- The breakfast is poor, the quality very bad. We have had the breakfast outside everyday.- The crew is not helpful at all. The only positive point is:+ it's clean.

  I stayed at Lalali Blue Marmaray Hotel with my family for 7 days. This was the second time I had been staying at this hotel for my holidays. hotel is one of the best locations. The hotel is close to the tramvay station, bus, metro and van station, which is only 1~5 minutes walk away. The Blue Marmaray hotel is a small 4-star hotel, although it does not have a large room (in Istanbul, hotels usually have a small room), but it's luxurious and clean and comfortable bed. The hotel was hot and cold breakfast was very good. The hotel staff were great and they answered the questions of passengers patiently.به همراه خانواده ام ۷ روز در هتل لالعلی بلو مارمارای اقامت داشتم. این دومین بار بود که اقامت در این هتل را برای تعطیلاتم انتخاب کرده بودم. یکی از بهترین لوکیشن را دارد. نزدیکی هتل به ایستگاه تراموا، اتوبوس، مترو و ون که فقط۱-۵ دقیقه پیاده روی لازم است. بلو مارمارای هتلی کوچک معادل ۴ ستاره است با اینکه سایز اتاق بزرگی ندارد (در استانبول هتلها معمولا دارای اتاق کوچکی هستند) ولی لوکس و تمیز و تختخواب راحت می باشد. هتل دارای صبحانه گرم و سرد بصورت سلف سرویس و بسیارخوب بود. پرسنل هتل همگی عالی بودند و سوالات مسافران را با صبر و حوصله جواب می دادند.

  We have just returned from this hotel. We all had an amazing time. Fabulous location and spotlessly clean. The spa is a must. The best massage ever. However every morning was a struggle to find sun beds. If you went down after 8:30 all sunbirds had towels on. For the size of the hotel I don’t believe there is enough sun beds to cater for the hotel and that was mid May so peak season may be terrible. Food was nice. Yes and coffee in rooms but only paper cups and only on the first day. No mugs were left. We had to drink from a very small glass at first. Our friends had amazing service from the cleaners in the rooms. We had a room of 3 yet only 2 glasses. Air con kept turning off through the night. All in all a good hotel but not a 4*
