  The Executive Lounge at Le Méridien Etiler was truly one of the highlights of my stay.   Outside of the old part so way cheaper. Room was amazing with a great view. Concierge lounge for those that qualify or pay extra. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy metro connections.

  Very disappointing stay at Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler

  On arrival I found a cup with a cigarette butt in my non‑smoking room which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. My requests for a quiet, non‑smoking room on a higher floor were ignored, and messages sent in advance received no reply. The pool area was the biggest disappointment. To reach it, guests must first go to the changing rooms, then walk past lifts and the reception before finally arriving at the pool. There are no changing facilities by the pool itself which is highly inconvenient. The water was cold and the floor dangerously slippery, making the whole experience uncomfortable and unsafe. Although I received an apology message, no real solution was provided. This stay left me feeling ignored and uncomfortable rather than relaxed. For a hotel under the Le Méridien brand, this is unacceptable. I also filed a formal complaint with Booking.com regarding the poor service and conditions. Definitely not a 5‑star experience and not worth the price. While we always strive to accommodate our guests’ preferences, we would also like to note that some of your additional consumption requests were beyond the scope of what we are able to provide.Additionally, we would like to kindly remind that smoking is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms in line with our hotel policies and international hospitality standards. However, guests are welcome to smoke in designated outdoor areas such as balconies and terraces. Despite these measures, there may unfortunately be instances where some guests do not fully comply with the rules and may carry residual smoke or related waste indoors. Please be assured that this is closely monitored and addressed by our housekeeping and management teams.We regret that, despite these efforts, your experience did not meet your expectations.   What an Incredible huge drop in quality. Once it was my favourite hotel/ breakfast in the world, today it’s just extremely random and absolutely not worth going there anymore. The club lounge is the only part that’s still ok.The breakfast was once really amazing, today it’s full with cheap, very low quality options. I can imagine that for some people it’s still a good buffet, but compared to a months/years ago it’s just about 10% left of what it once was. A real shame and pity.
