The hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, and from links to the public transport system, via which guests can reach a range of dining and entertainment options, as well as local attractions within 15 minutes. It is 5 minutes' walk from the Egyptian market and 10 minutes from the Grand Bazaar, and it takes 5 minutes by public transport to reach Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, 15 minutes to reach Dolmabahçe Palace.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1910. The hotel has 172 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a playroom.     Home. Very bad hotel

    An extremely disappointing experience. We repeatedly complained about a loud and disturbing noise coming from the air conditioner, which made it impossible to sleep. A maintenance technician came but was unable to fix the issue. Despite our repeated requests, the staff refused to change our room and asked us to wait until morning for further inspection.In addition, there was no privacy—staff opened our room door without prior notice while we were inside. This was my third stay at the hotel, and each visit has been worse than the last. Needless to say, this will be my final visit.     Disappointing Stay at Legacy Ottoman

    The Legacy Ottoman, has been disappointing and dismal. The main issues:1) the safe in our room failed and we waited 3 hours with repeated attempts to open. Finally, the hotel maintenance team drilled into the safe. Not having a replacement, we were offered a single bed room or an upgrade fee for a room with 2 beds. We agreed to the upgrade, as the dingy room without a safe for work computers is a non starter2) the breakfast is mediocre, with some food served at dangerous temperatures3) WiFi in room is flakey and poor bandwidth I can go on but this tells the story. Prior reviews pointed to many problems. This is not a 5 or even 4 star hotel.     Run down rooms with poor service

    The hotel feels closer to a 3-star standard rather than what is advertised. The room was quite run down, with several maintenance issues. There were frequentBasic amenities were inconsistent. Bathrobes were not provided in the room upon arrival, I had to call reception to request them. Strangely, housekeeping removed them every day even when they hadn’t been used and did not replace them.I stayed in an atrium-view room, which receives no natural daylight. It was also very noisy, as the window faces directly into the lobby. Despite being a non-smoking room, it smelled strongly of smoke.Reception’s solution to issues was often to suggest paying extra for a better room. The key cards frequently stopped working, requiring repeated trips to reception to reactivate them.The bathroom was in poor condition, with very noisy pipes and an overall worn-down feel. The spa facilities were underwhelming, the pool was cold and difficult to enjoy, and the spa services are overpriced for what is offered.The room itself lacked basic functionality: there was no second nightstand, and the closet had only two hangers.Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.     Fantastic hotel !!!

    We have visited Istanbul many times and came across The legacy Ottomon hotel by chance and booked. We will be leaving tomorrow morning and are sad to go. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful all round and the staff are so happy to help and welcoming especially Nadeem who assisted with any questions we had. He made our stay more easy. He is a credit to the hotel!.We visited the hotel Harmony Spa 3 days in a row as they were so good. The main staff member Nargiz was so helpful and explained the available services very well. We had great massages and Hammam experince from Yuni, Arik,Julia & Kadek.Location is spot on and local to everywhere.Thank you so much for a great stay. We will be returning God willing!!!     Dreadful Hotel should be avoided

    This hotel does not provide a 5 Star Standard in either quality of room or service. The building exterior is beautiful but the interior hasn't been renovated in decades is and tired and grubby. There is no AC.Bathroom kitted out like a 3 StarRooms are not as presented on the Website.
