    Terrible noise, worse management

    We walked into the room and realized we could not stay. The soundproofing is nonexistent - we could hear everything from the lobby, upstairs, and the street.We informed management immediately, hoping for a reasonable solution. Instead, we spent the entire day trying to get a refund so we could relocate elsewhere. They told us our 4 days of payment would be completely wasted if we left. Their only "solution"? Pay double to move to a higher floor, which wouldn't fix the soundproofing problem anyway.After hours of discussion, they refused any refund and hid behind the nonrefundable policy rather than acknowledge their hotel's obvious problems.The welcome was pleasant, but that's it. Shortly after settling into the room, you shared your discomfort regarding ambient noise, which can sometimes be felt in rooms located on the ground floor.Louis Appartements, a LOUIS HOTELS hotel, has been welcoming guests in the Beyoglu district for over 10 years with a focus on maximum guest satisfaction. Accordingly, every member of our team strives to provide a comfortable stay for each guest, and all our facilities are constantly being improved.Our hotel is located in Beyoğlu, in a boutique building that has been restored in accordance with legal regulations.     My husband and I stayed 5 nights in Istanbul (our first stop on our first trip to Turkey), and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel. The room itself was comfortable and had a useful kitchenette, the location was wonderful, but what really stood out to me was the staff at the hotel. From the minute we arrived, I felt so welcomed by the staff, and they encouraged us to sit and relax while they offered to help us with any plans for our trip or with any questions we had. Throughout our stay, it was really nice chatting with them and I also really appreciated their advice on things to do and how to get around. They also arranged very nice airport transfers for us, both from the airport and back to the airport.We hope to come back to Turkey again and if we do, we would love to stay here again!     Loved everything about the Louis Apartments. The location was perfect. The room (tower suite) was high quality, spacious and had a magnificent view from the balcony. We were very happy with every aspect of this apartment. We’d stay again. The staff were exceptional and provided us with useful information about how to get around using public transport and organised restaurant bookings. Perfect!!     Insanely Nice place! The staff are super friendly. Checkin and out was so pleasant and rekaxing. Our room was perfect, with a sitting area, breakfast area and a nicely equipped kitchenette. I’d rate it at 6 stars out of 5 possible 🤩. And the location near the Galata tower and public transport facilities made moving around simple.Would recommend anytime!!!     Nice & clean modern renovated appartement, well equipped. Very nice and helpfull hotel personal: really helped us with our lost phone. Lively neighbourhood: all stores nearby.
