    The friendliest hotel in Taksim

    We had a very nice Istanbul holiday with my mother in this hotel. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, 2 minutes walk from Taksim square. The staff was very polite and helpful, they took care of us in every respect. I can't wait to come back and stay here, thank you for everything.

    Firstly, a 'suite' is defined as ' a space where there are one or more rooms seperate from the bedroom to include a living or day area' Luna suites is not this.When booking the detail was ' room size 25sq mtrs' in reality it was less than 14. A balcony was shown in the inages, it did not exist. The 'bath and shower' turned to be a tiny shower area seperated from the toilet area by broken and badly repaired plastic surround. The sink was tiny and positioned in such a way as is unuseable for its purpose.There is a safe, but not bolted down so can be taken or swapped.Tea /was given on day 1 with 5 paper cups , no coffee . Nothing was replaced during our 4 nights.Housekeeping did not exist until the last night , even then, it wasnt complete. Fire or smoke sensors in the room were not seen. No directions or escape route in case of fire were available.I could go on but you get the idea.At about 45gbp per night, unacceptable for a 14sq mtr room Regardless of location which isnt great.
