  Very clean and well-maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The food is very tasty, both breakfast and lunch, and the tea and coffee are also good. The location is ideal: there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, as well as a pharmacy and many shopping options nearby. Overall, a pleasant stay that I would gladly recommend.

  I have spend about a week at this hotel, room are clean and spacios, wifi dosen't work very good, with the moments, breakfast is good and variety avery morning, the staff of breakfast is 👌👌. I have one time dinner with my father the food is not so good but instead of quality i order ravioli with pesto alla genovese and they bring to me ravioli with mashroom and panna and peppers, that means if i'm alergic suppose to dead? I ask the waiter and he try to told me that what i order but i have insist to bring a menu and on menu is exaclty what i said before ravioli with pesto alla genovese, i was very disappointed, i understand is COVID-19 as menu can be reduce but you have to told.

  Friendly COVID Safe Hotel in a welcoming part of Istanbul

  My first venture abroad in 6 months has seen me travel to Istanbul as an health tourist staying at the Marnas Hotel. First of all this is not a 4 star hotel in the true sense. It is a clean, friendly hotel with some good local shops and restaurants all with walking distance at prices that are not over priced to rip tourists off.The hotel has worked hard to be COVID safe with plenty of hand sanitiser and screens, Complimentary face masks are in everyone room, welcome to the new normal !!Breakfast is basic but nice and served on the top floor with excellent views of the working class suburb of Bayrampasa. The only negative points of the hotel was that they have no Iron and Ironing board, which was a huge surprise and disappointing and the WiFi was woefully slow.The gym fitness suite was basic and could do with some upgrading. Outside of the hotel directly opposite is a currency exchange, Be careful as I changed £100 sterling and received only £50 on Turkish Lira. After I complained they corrected it. Local Restaurants, Coffee Shops and Barbers are in abundance and keenly priced. my favourite was Kofte Time where you can get a three course meal with drinks for £10 equivalent. Breakfast equivalent was the Bahane Coffee shop where for68 Turkish Lira you get a massive breakfast for two with all you can drink Turkish Tea. If you want to meet genuine Turkish people who speak little English, Eat what they eat at prices they pay, Go stay here and venture outside the hotel within a 300 metre radius you can mix in with locals and with mutual respect you will enjoy each others company and culture.

  THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. the standard of the hotel s not 4 star.

  The standard of the hotel is not 4 star. We were upset about the bad location of the hotel , other than described.The bathroom was not very clean, incredibly small towels , grey and very old.during my 7 day stay at the hotel they did not clean the bath. shower gel and shampoo very bad.In spite of it was written that the room have Ironing facilities, but I was disappointed upon arrival that there was no iron in the room. I tried to complain this morning, but they said I have to pay for laundry, they even not taking laundry from the room. I have to bring my laundry to the lobby and for the next day pick it again from the lobby from (9 am to 6 pm) and because I was during that time out of the hotel , sooo I could not have my cleaned dress until I checked out from the hotel , because they will not bring laundry to your room.-Room cleaning makes room very badly and during my stay 7 day they did not change Bed linen. Bed linen grey smelly uncleaned. They did not even vacuum clean the room during the whole week Minibar was Zero. old and empty Refrigerator. I asked for water, they did not bring, so we bought water by by myself. There was coffee maker in the room, but no coffee.Very bad air conditioning.Very very bad WiFi provided. so overall, the standard of the hotel s not 4 star.

  Nice stay, would stay again

  The hotel is quite nice, rooms spacious, staff helpful and you get plenty of choice for breakfast.Bed was comfortable, I usually struggle if the mattress is too soft, fortunately the bed was comfortable and mattress good.Cleaner very helpful, receptionists also helpful.The cleaner visits every day and replenish tea bags and you get 2 small bottles of drinking water. The also replenish shower/body wash liquid every day.There is a small fridge in each room, so you can store water, or some food if needed. The hotel is slightly away from the main tourist attractions but a 10min ride on Metro gets you to the old city (Byrampasha Metro station is 5-6min walk from the hotel). The same Metro station is where you get on the train to get you to the airport (approx 30min). I was there to do some private work, so needed to be in this, specific area and it was convenient.Plenty of local food shops, restaurants just 1-2min walking distance, near the big mosque (it was interesting walking around the area to see how local people live, many small businesses, workshops and small, family shops everywhere). The only, minor downside of the hotel is a very busy road outside BUT this did not bother me because I always take some ear-plugs with me when travel away, so the traffic outside wasn't an issue. Would come back again.
