    By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The large number of positive reviews is incomprehensible to me and appears unrealistic.The hotel is generally very run-down and dirty. The room door was defective, the textiles (blanket and curtains) were clearly filthy, and the shampoo dispenser in the bathroom was visibly moldy. The room itself was extremely small and also extremely noisy — conversations from neighboring rooms could be heard and understood clearly. After showering or using the toilet flush, the entire room smelled strongly of sewage.Directly opposite the hotel there is a nightclub. Since the windows do not close properly, there is no chance of getting a good night’s sleep — music and noise can be heard constantly.The breakfast was also disappointing. Every day it was the same, served on a plate with only a few carelessly arranged items. No variety, no choice whatsoever.

    We recently stayed at Maroon Tomtom, and overall our experience was positive. The hotel is located right in the center, which is a big advantage if you want easy access to Taksim and the surrounding areas. However, because of the nightlife in Taksim, the noise level can be quite high, especially at night.The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were generally friendly. The only thing that felt a bit frustrating was that every time my wife and I returned to the hotel, the staff would ask which room we were staying in, even though the hotel has a camera system and we had already checked in. It wasn’t a big issue, but a bit repetitive.The rooms are a little small, but considering the price, it is acceptable and reasonable for the area.Overall, despite the noise and minor inconveniences, I would stay here again.

    Convenient Location, Friendly Staff, but Some Downsides

    The hotel’s location is excellent – it’s centrally situated and makes it easy to access many attractions by foot or public transport. However, it is also a rather noisy area, especially at night, which might disturb light sleepers.The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and their hospitality was definitely a highlight. That said, the cleanliness of the hotel left something to be desired. The rooms, and particularly the bathrooms, were quite small, which affected the overall comfort.Overall, I’d rate the experience around 7 to 7.5 out of 10. It’s a good choice if location and service matter more to you than space and cleanliness.

    Clean room. Great location if you want to be at the centre of all attractions. Close walk to the metro . Great breakfast.Only thing lacking… no water bottles given in the room. And coffee was not replenished daily we had to ask for itBut overall a good stay.Would stay again!

    I stayed couple of times in this hotel , and enjoyed my stay very much, but this time we had no towels and the room was quite cold.. normally we had a big room but this time our room was quite small ... the location and the people are kind but had a bad experience
