    Absolutely unacceptable experience! worst hotel stay in Istanbul!My stay at Mercure Bomonti Istanbul Sisli was shocking and completely unacceptable. This hotel does not meet even basic hospitality standards, let alone 5-star standards.Housekeeping was a disaster. The room was full of dust, poorly cleaned, and the bathroom was filthy with a constant bad smell. I complained multiple times, and the staff simply ignored the issue. No action, no follow-up, nothing.Breakfast was equally terrible. There was almost zero variety, and the quality was extremely poor. Even the simplest pastries available outside the hotel were far better. During a 21-day stay, we only went to breakfast 3 times because the food was genuinely unpleasant.The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. The most serious and unacceptable incident was when the hotel staff removed my personal belongings from my room without my permission. I brought a baby food steamer from Bahrain because I do not feed my child outside food. The staff took it from the room without informing me. When I questioned reception, they admitted taking it and said it was “not allowed.” This is a serious violation of privacy and trust.I have traveled all over the world and always carry this item, this is the first time in my life such a thing has happened. Only after a major confrontation did they return it.For a so-called 5-star hotel, the service level was embarrassing. There was zero assistance with luggage. My sister had to carry the bags herself, and not a single staff member offered help. A random hotel guest helped us instead, while the staff stood and watched.This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in Istanbul. The staff make guests feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, to the point where you avoid asking for any help at all.It is extremely disappointing because the Mercure brand is generally known for quality and professionalism, but this hotel is a complete failure and damages the reputation of the entire brand.I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid it completely.

    Fab spacious rooms, service and staff very helpful.Location walkable distance to bus stops and shops.Sauna was lovely Breakfast was good with nice Balcony.Great value for money.We had a lovely time.

    Stayed here for dental work. Probably the worst hotel in the area. Noise from heating system all night long.Nightmare!

    I stayed in Mercure Hotel for 5 nights. The location is very good, and the breakfast was nice with many options.But the room was very small, the shower door was not working properly and needs to be fixed, the electric panel was open, which is dangerous, and the room was missing some lights, making it very dark. The housekeeping staff were talking loudly every morning and woke me up. The hotel also looks old and needs renovation. It doesn’t feel like a 5-star hotel anymore.I want to thank Fatmeh from housekeeping for her help during our stay — she was very kind and supportive.I’ve attached pictures for reference. The rest of the team should also be more polite and friendly.

    I traveled from Canada to Istanbul and stayed at the Mercure Bomonti Hotel for 10 days. My experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was extremely clean, stylish, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming, always making me feel at ease.The breakfast was excellent with a great variety to choose from.Overall, everything about this hotel was truly perfect.Highly recommended! 🌟
