  Total scam NO CITY VIEW rooms are very dirty and pictures are decades old

  This hotel images are a total 100% scam on all the websites that are displaying pictures of rooms with the city view which I myself got charged for there is absolutely NO city view you would be lucky if you even had a window that is facing the outside as some of the room windows are leading into the staircase there is NO lift NO CITY VIEW AT ALL and definitely NO understanding for disabled people as my friends son is disabled we had a disabled badge he accidentally spilled juice on his bedding we got shouted at and said we are using disability as an excuse we were even willing to pay for the laundry for the bedding when I asked the manager he was so rude we were being harassed in our 2 week stay it's a lie that the rooms have a city view as displayed in the pictures the room pictures are decades old the AC has a mind of its own the rooms are very dirty the managers wife is so rude she mimicks you in her own language and giggles at you when you walk past her you feel like you have paid to get harrased and bullied then after 4 duas of stay we were told no more toilet rolls will be given to us as its a cheap hotel we have gone over our one toilet roll per day we started buying our own toilet rolls then the bedding stopped getting changed until we awaited for 4 days and requested again then the managers wife with a attitude and grumpiness changed it throwing it around with anger and attitude our children got so upset as we have been to soany different countries and stayed in so many hotels but they haven't seen anything like this it's disgusting the behaviour and attitude the manager and his wife are both staying at the hotel to top it up even on the last day when we had to leave we asked the manager politely we have a taxi coming at 4am can you open the front door as there was no lift he decided to duck it again and send his wife out with a attitude she expected us to take the suitcases down the stairs without making any noise at all she kept following us like we were prisoners and there is absolutely no breakfast available or table and chairs in any rooms at all

  Worst hotel I even booked in my life over the world

  If you don’t want to ruin your holiday please avoid this hotel ! Is not what shows in the picture ! Is disgusting and very bad people inside without education ! You book a room and when you arrive there they tell you that they are full and they give you a room that you don’t want to stay not even if is for free ! Avoid this hotel !!!!! Worst ever ! Even area is very bad with homeless people and very bad !

  We booked the hotel few weeks before our stay and on arrival we were told no rooms are available!! They claim that they notified us by email at mid night the night before when we were on holiday already with no wifi! It looks unclean and miserable. Stay away from this hotel.

  STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANY OFFERS OF THIS HOTEL. We were literally kicked out of the hotel the first evening we arrived, without ANY explanation whatsoever. Even when Expedia spoke to the hotel management, the management of the hotel gave them no explanation. In Istanbul we had to find a first hotel that had a room available and paid way more than we would have if we booked another hotel on Expedia. Book your stay at Monarch Hotel only if you are adventurous and you want to find out what it feels like to be kicked out of a hotel on your arrival to Istanbul. Another thing, in the hotel description it is indicated that the staff of the hotel is multilingual. This is a lie. They do not speak any other language than Turkish, and very likely poor Turkish also (because we had Turks from Expedia communicate with them and they could not get any answers). Once again, stay away from this hotel. If I could I would give them a negative 10 out of 10.

  Cheap hotel

  Rooms where simply but nice equipped, the see view is more city panorama, but still nice. Bus stops are in 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel is situated in poor city quarter, but the neighborhood is not dangerous.
