    I am very disappointed with the state of our accomdation during our stay at the Movenpick Living Istanbul West.1. There was construction across from the hotel that many taxis were to scared to drive thru. Due to this, we had to exit the taxi on the main road and walk to the hotel everyday as we were told that the risk of tire puncture was too great.2. The staff were unable to assist in mailing postcards for us even though they had the correct postage stamps on the postcards.3. Our room.. the 4 bedroom Sky Villa was not up 5 Star standard.-one of the sprinklers in the ceiling on the ground floor was missing a part of its housing and had missing plaster around it; while one of the sprinkler's on the 2nd floor was hanging out of the ceiling !! -plaster from the 2nd floor fell on the floor and in my hair while I was on the ground floor near the stairs.- there were cracks and horrible bumpy plaster along the stairs-dried paint on the stairs- floor lamp with black tape holding the cord together in the living room next to the dining room table-grey paint dripped all along the white baseboards and even in the bathroom- broken toilet roll holder-toilet paper not replenished -- had to ask front desk twice-- still not received-dishes from room service not collected even though it was requested ( I washed them myself and left them outside door-- they still were not collected when we checked out). 4. Terraces not cleaned (glass water bottle and trash bag found upon our artival and not cleaned during our stay)5. Fire alarm at 5am on the morning of our 2nd day,--NO communication at all from staff- just waited in the cold part of the time-no one checked everyone was accounted for !! I paid upon arrival before seeing the room as I relied upon the 5 Star rating. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a 4 bedroom elsewhere at such short notice. The manager contacted me offering an apology but no compensation. This room should have NEVER been available in this state!! I have never stayed in a 5 Star hotel that looked this way!     Good hotel and staff but could use better management over all

    We stayed at Mövenpick Living Istanbul and had a very comfortable experience overall. The staff truly stand out for their kindness and professionalism.A special thanks to Aşiye Yılmaz from housekeeping for cleaning our room so carefully and making everything spotless. Rames, our butler, was always attentive, polite, and ready to help with anything we needed. Abdullah from the restaurant was also wonderful, offering great hospitality and always making us feel welcome during breakfast.The hotel itself could use a few small improvements to reach an even higher standard, but it’s clear that the team works hard to provide a great experience. Their dedication and warm service made our stay feel comfortable and pleasant.Thank you to the Mövenpick team for their efforts and hospitality.
