    Lovely hotel in good location

    We love this hotel. It is right in the heart of Istikial street, a perfect place to explore the main street and lanes around it. It can be noisy especially at night, but you can opt for rooms facing away from the street The hotel is beautifully furnished and has a lot of character. The staff, in particular Benjamin, is just wonderful and very helpful. Istanbul was our last stop before we head for home and the stay at Cas Taksim was a really nice end to a fabulous vacation.31 Mar 2026

    Great location and an unusual interior for the price, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.Before booking, I confirmed by phone in advance that a NON-commercial photo shoot without artificial lighting was allowed, and only after that did I book a non-refundable room. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room I had selected was unavailable due to “technical reasons.” After complaining, I was eventually given the room I originally wanted, which was described as a “VIP upgrade.”Late at night, around midnight, the manager informed me that any kind of photography in the hotel was prohibited, despite the prior approval. A full team (makeup artist, photographer, videographer) was scheduled for the next morning, but we had no place to shoot. There was no time left to fix the situation. I was in complete distress.I did not sleep at all that night: a strong sewage smell masked by a chemical air freshener, thin semi-transparent curtains, extremely loud music until morning, and the bed literally vibrating from the nightclub. The bathrobes and towels were old, grey from wear, and even had holes.Breakfast was acceptable, and the coffee was good.At breakfast, I met the same manager, who assured me that there would be no party noise the following night.The second night was even worse — the bass was so strong that the windows were rattling. Another major downside was the thin walls and a staff toilet behind the wall — I could hear absolutely everything. So much for a “VIP” room.I was left with the strong impression that I was being constantly misled and taken advantage of for the hotel’s own benefit.

    We would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful time we had at this magnificent hotel. We had a comfortable and peaceful stay at this beautiful hotel, which truly stands out for its cleanliness. Mr. Cas will be our home during our visits to Istanbul.

    I love this hotel the from the moment you enter it has a gorgeous smell, the atmosphere is calm in the middle of hectic Istiklal street, our room was beautiful, great shower, breakfast was very generous. It was a magical experience drinking excellent cocktails on the terrace taking in the view of the old city. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Istanbul,.
