  Nice well appointed small hotel in nice area of Taksim

  This boutiquey hotel is in a quiet back street of Taksim. I liked this because it was not as loud as being on or nearer to the 'main drag' but still very close to everything. The staff was very friendly and they have a nice cafe area downstairs. The hotel is nicely designed and quite modern and clean. There is also a great cafeteria-style restaurant just near the hotel that has excellent local food at very affordable places and is a popular local spot. It has free wifi. The corridors and elevator are small and the staircase is a bit precarious, so perhaps not the best for older folks or families.

  This little hotel is behind the big road Istiklal..in a small alley. The place and the view are not what you're expecting to see but it can be fine. We stayed on the 4th floor ..we had a balcony and breakfast included. But the breakfast was ...like literally nothing. It was really poor but i think thats a problem in every hotel in istanbul in this budget. The owner and his co partner were very friendly but a little bit tricky and foxy.. I mean its ok to be friendly and kind but dont try to trick us because we're tourists..we'are not stupid. So be very careful with the amount of money you're gonna pay . An other thing that disturbed us was the room service which if i hadnt ask for her to clean the room, she wouldnt have done it. And finally the last night we were totally freezing because the air condition didnt work. In generally we had a great time! For a few days it can be bearable!
