Location

The hotel is located in the Sirkeci area of the historical peninsula of the city. Sirkeci train station is less than 5 minutes’ walk away, while the city centre is roughly 3 km from the hotel. The major tourist attractions such as Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque are within a 15-minute or so walk of the hotel. Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is roughly 45 km from the hotel while Atatürk International Airport is approximately 20 km away.

Guests have a choice of 58 non-smoking rooms located in two 6-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions.     What a gem of a hotel! Great location, charming rooms, genuinely lovely staff, fabulous breakfast and genuine hospitality. I don’t quite reviews very often but this deserves a mention. Such a great find 11/10!

    Stayed at the hotel for 5 days, everything was good. The hotel is centrally located in a quiet street that is close to all attractions and shops. It takes 5 minutes to the port and the bazaar, the staff at the hotel are very attentive to the guests and are helpful and respectful to the guests. The room is a good size with good beds and bathrooms, the cleaning is very good. The hotel has a very good breakfast buffet with caring breakfast hosts. Everything was great during our visit. I would really like to stay at this hotel next time I visit Istanbul. I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for their hospitality.

    Absolutely amazing! First time in Turkey and family stayed at Neorion Hotel for several nights. Walked in and received a welcome befitting royalty! Helpful, friendly and attentive service from every single person starting with the reception desk who immediately greeted us with drinks of our choice. In our room was a lovely scroll with a note from our housekeeper—who took such good care of us. Free water, Turkish coffee, Turkish teas, and delectable Turkish Delights in our room. Room was extremely clean, modern yet homey, and the fluffiest towels and bed linen I have ever touched. At breakfast (which is included), prepare yourself for a feast you will not forget. The selection is endless; delicious sweet and savory treats, so many olives, meats, cheeses, prepared delicacies of all sorts, yoghurt with endless toppings, breads, pastries that will make you melt and of course several choices to drink. But the service is altogether next level. Mehmet and his entire staff are waiting to serve you as they greet you with a warm, welcoming smile. They are so attentive but never in the way staying close at hand, anticipating your every need. I have never felt more welcome, safe, and cared for anywhere else I have stayed—and I have traveled the world for decades! There is absolutely no comparison to anywhere else like the Neorion Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. I will truly miss the people and their friendly smiles. I will definitely return again and again.

    The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, spacious enough and actually quite nice design, the painting on the wall gives a little glimpse of the ottoman period. The Turkish delight that was provided in the room was actually one of the best we tasted, maybe even better than some of the famous brands in Istanbul(as we tried many of them). Breakfast was delicious, everyday there were some different things to try, really good tea and Turkish coffee too. The hotel staff was very attentive and nice. We arrived early in the morning, way before check in time, of course no room was available, but they texted us as soon as they got the first room available(I think it was around 10:00) which was really nice of them. We also booked massage packages at their spa and we were very pleased, it was not just very very relaxing but it was also very therapeutic too for my back aches. Totally recommended, I wish we would have stayed longer to have time for another session. (We opted for Sultan massage). The hotel location is also great, seems safe area, many restaurants around and just 10-15 min away from the main attractions in Sulthanahmet and close to various public transport options towards other neighbourhoods and points of attraction. Thanks to the team, that made our stay very pleasant.
