    The hotel was booked on our behalf so we were pleasantly surprised to be given a huge 3 bedroom suite on the 6th floor at the rear of the hotel. It was very spacious with one double with en-suite and two single bedrooms with bathrooms across the hall. It had a kitchen and spacious lounge area. Check in was simple and all staff we came in contact with were friendly. We didnt take any food to our room so were not challenged about this but if we had been challenged I find it unlikely the hotel staff would win that arguement as we had a fully fitted kitchen in the room. The hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast was ok and we didnt really care about the location as we had business close but the airport and central Istanbul were some distance away. The wifi in the room wasn't perfect but it worked most of the time so no complaints. There is a very large shopping mall across the road and many restaurants and bars 100m away.

    Spent 9 nights at Nidya Esenyurt. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable. Being next door to the Akbati Mall was very nice. We will definitely stay here the next trip to Istanbul. The spa was amazing. We had several massages during our stay.

    Hotel is not bad, great location and accessible to akbeti mall, restaurants and transportation. Rooms are clean and overall is OK, and Staff are friendly Just enough. Some weird stuff this hotel does, they make you fill out tons of paperwork for each guest, and they do not allow guests to bring their own food, drinks or groceries or even use the kitchen appliances. Their sales manager is rude, and he letterly told me, if you do not like it here, you check out now and we will give you back your money when i was not happy about those restrictions; in fact, he left instructions to the front desk staff to check me out. Overall, becasue the restrictions we faced and that manager, I would not highly recommend this hotel unless you check all the details upfront, to avoid surprises.

    The rooms are 50/50 clean. The employees barely speak any english, very hard to communicate. Reception very unfriendly. You have to pay for every drink or snack (even water) you take from the minibar, which they dont tell you until you want to check out. Breakfast is bad. Unless you take water to drink, you will have to pay for it. Food for room service is alright, too overpriced for the amount of food you get. Surely you still will be hungry after eating. All in all a very bad hotel, compared to all the other ones in Istanbul. Not recommended, search for better ones.

    To help you to choose properly, I prefer to categorize items as per below:1. Service: absolutely poor. In restaurant a few of staff are really polite. But quality of service by them is disappointing. For example I asked for Omlet, it did not cane through for 15minutes.2. Location: location is not good for tourist at all. I don't think anybody likes to pay 140TL every day for a single trip to downtown.hotel is located opposite to mall. BUT GUESTS CAN NOT CARRY ANYTHING PURCHASED FROM MALL TO HOTEL. You should hide it, put it in a bag and take it to your room.I have seen many people fighting with receptionists. This is not written anywhere as a rule, and hotel prefers to sell his own stuff with triple or more price.3. Price: with this level of service the price is really high. There are Junior suites with Kitchens. Hotel just shows kitchen to guests. Kitchens for any reason are not operating... 4. House keeping: they are really good and helpful. I don't know about other floors, but on the floor I stayed, luckily she was very good.Regards
