    Great Value in One of San Diego's Popular and Liveliest Tourist Districts

    My wife and have stayed here often over many years. Harbor View, in our opinion is a well managed and maintained mid-priced hotel in San Diego's Little Italy district, close to the bay, freeway, fabulous restaurants and the San Diego Zoo. This hotel has four floors with views facing three directions with pleasant urban views. It is also reasonably quiet for its active urban area. The location is one of its greatest features.

    The bed was pretty rigid and comfortable...flat screen..accessible to everything but the best was talking to the owner Jay at front desk prior to checking out.We were 2 adults abd our 3 daughters we arrived at 1 am literally to just lay our heads for 9 hrs then go explore.I needed a flat car battery for the remote of our rental..Jay was so kind as to have one behind the desk! He was also sharing how he was a big patriot and a huge Trump guy.My man!!!This made the experience that much greater. Jay is a stellar guy...I wish you the best jay!

    The hotel is nice and quiet, but the female desk attendant is very rude , she was outside smoking a vape and telling people to close the door behind them after they closed it already....maybe that vape had THC in it ....I think there's enough of that already around..this place is too decent for that

    This place is really a nice value. Everything was super clean, and the room is very functional with easy to control TV with Tom Segura on the first channel I checked, good Wi-Fi, plenty of electrical outlets, a little desk, plenty of towels, adequate shampoo and soap. Everything very functional and surprisingly well kept. Note to management.. the toilet runs in room 305, which didn't affect me at all, but may be costly for you. If you stay here, ideally have a White Noise app on your phone, because it's near the street level, and yes, it's in an urban area. The air conditioner wasn't needed, since I'm here in january, but the fan from it worked well.
