    First impressions were good, check in was easy. The local area is really rather nice within walking distance of many sites and lots of local restaurants.The room itself was spacious and light, although the bathroom had a musty smell as extractor does not work well enough, but we could live with that.We were in two minds about the room given that it was across from reception with no other door other than our room door. However given that we were out all day only returning in the early evening suggested it should not be a problem.We were mistaken the young man on reception was joined by other young people talking loudly and on there telephones well into the evening. On the third day another older gentleman manned reception and a wonderful peaceful evening was had. On the fourth evening I emerged from our room to tell them to be quiet. On the fifth evening at 11.15pm I again impored them to be quiet.The next morning we found another hotel around the corner which was so much nicer and more importantly quiet for our final two nights.On handing back the keys at the Ottomens Pearl Hotel the older gentleman manning reception was surprised at our early departure, and promised to make management aware the reasons for our early departure.On our first evening in the restaurant we had three cans of Efes beer which I offered to pay for but the young male receptionist said no need. We were then anticipating to pay upon departure, which would be the norm. It was therfore a surprise on day four/five when he requested payment. We led us to believe that he knew he was driving us nuts and wanted to secure the payment.To conclude hopefully management will dismiss this idiot or not let this room to paying guests.

    A nestled gem of istanbul

    Incredibly polite and friendly staff that welcome you as soon as you arrive. Incredibly clean and traditional Turkish interior. This is nestled in a beautiful part of Istanbul that provides a lovely mix of restaurants, cafes and a close distance to the hustle and bustle of the grand bazaar!

    Lovely place to stay. Hospitable, clean and brilliant location. Istanbul can be very hectic but this was tucked away in a lovely neighbourhood with many delicious restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again. Thank you to the staff.

    Beautiful historical ambiance. I m very happy to stay here. Staff very helpfull. Room is comfortable and quite. Bathroom is very clean and they give me new towel everyday. Wifi, breakfast, good. This hotel location near by public transport station. Thank you for your service.

    The location was very nice. Garden restaurant delicious. Brilliant Stay at the Ottoman's Pearl HotelWas very happy with my stay. Hotel was clean, bedsheets, towels room etc was cleanedchanged every 2 days. All the staff were brilliant and was always willing to help, made you feel like you are part of their family. Would go the extra mile to help your needs. Location was ideal, it was close to a nice park, the sea and main attractions.
