  Great location, very polite staff

  The hotel is located just a couple of minutes from the middle of Istiklal. The rooms are spacious. Nothing fancy, but very clean. Both Mehmet and Murat are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is quite baaic but you'll find your standard coffee, nice tea, simit, cheese, ham and biscuits.

  The hotel is exceptionally well located just at walking distance to the Istiklal cadessi and neighboring throngs of cafes and restaurants. Its in Beyoglu which was earlier known as Pera and appears unique for its westernized architecture which is not very evident across Istanbul otherwise but is so here for its European history that housed minorities of jews and armenians etc- thus the synagogues and churches across the place. The hotel staff is EXTREMELY generous and VERY helpful and kind. The best people I came across in Istanbul for sure!

  A gem in the heart of Beyoglu/Taksim for those seeking comfortable and affordable accommodation.

  A few minutes walk to the pedestrian Istiklal Street with its many shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries. Close to bus stops and Metro to move around town. I stayed at Pera Main for a week exploring the city. Spacious, clean, very well appointed room with excellent bathroom/shower, comfortable bed, good wifi. And, there's a lift. To top it all, the warm hospitality of the super friendly owners/staff who run the place. Thank you Mehmet, Yavuz and Murat. You're doing a great job. Very highly recommended.

  The worst experiance

  First of all i want to start with the room facilities, the window of my room was under construction as you can see in the picture and insects could easily come in!!!! The sheets and towels wasn’t clean and they had stains.The lift was broken and my husband got stock in the elevator it was very frightening and we had to use the stairs to get to 4th floor for 2 days until they bring somebody to fix it.the stairs was a nightmare as you see. they didn’t have any blanket !!! When i asked blanket the manager said to me the weather is hot and we can’t provide you any blanket, after my persistence they gave me this sheet as a blanket, i really wonder why the rate of such this place is hight,even the breakfast was terrible and i really disappointed by every single thing in this hotel.

  I had a family trip to İstanbul last June and stayed at Pera main hotel.Don't go to this hotel if you want to have a luxury and expensive trip.The hotel located in the best area of Istanbul with the best owner named Mehmet bey.so nice and cozy with a smiley face whenever you see him and knows English language enough. Room, sheets and bath are very clean and cleaned every day.the air-condition worked very good.hotel served a normal breakfast.The hotel was the best at it's price and location Wich I saw in Istanbul.I recommend it to anyone that wants have a nice stay in Istanbul with a good price
