    A good find. Very kind attentive staff. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was first rate. Any question was met with caring concern. The only thing I would change was the strange sink which there was no plug for making rinsing out your clothes really difficult. The position was very close to everything. We enjoyed the lively street with insane traffic. The windows keep out most of the noise and it ceases after 11pm.The food is very fresh and varies every day we stayed 8 days.

    It was first time for us to staying at Peyk Hotel at the beginning we were anxious about cleaning and hygienic but its stuff are very friendly and clean workers. Especially Miss Vildan was very clean and very friendly We felt at home. Thanks for everything 🙏🌹

    The most bizarre experience I've ever had in the last 30+ years travelling and I travel a lot! I've booked this hotel 4 months well in advance on the app, all confirmed. The day before travelling I looked up the hotel address from my booking to book a taxi. Reservation was there, all confirmed, no issues. On my way to the airport my husband asked me for hotel details just in case if anything happens. I've opened my app and shocked to see the reservation is cancelled!! I've called hotel and receptionist informed that my reservation was cancelled due to card issues, which I was apparently informed about? I had no single e-mail or any form of communication on this issue or even simple e-mail saying it was cancelled!Luckily for me it was one room available in nearby hotel I've stayed last year. I've booked it immediately on the same app with the same payment details! in a matter of 1 minute. They have also upgraded me to the suit as a returning customer. Im dreading to think that if my husband was not giving me a lift to the airport on that morning and didn't ask for hotel info, I would have arrived in Istanbul at 1 am on my pre rebooked taxi standing outside this hotel just to be told that my reservation is cancelled!?

    Excursion - “A Night on Bosphorus” - Beware!

    We stayed at the Peyk Hotel for 3 nights. The location is ideal and walkable distance to all the major sites. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. However, I would be wary of the “A Night on the Bosporus” cruise which the reception staff highly recommend to all their guests.We were led to believe that this was the best night cruise with food and entertainment all included. We had two kids aged 5 and 9 with us.The brochure detailed a set menu and various performances (Turkish dance show). However, the cruise they boarded us on was anything but that. It had a dj party/night club type of an atmosphere with the crowd made up entirely of locals who seemed to be enjoying the club like atmosphere. We were hard pressed to find anyone who spoke English. This was not the family friendly night on the Bhosporus that we were led to believe. We were packed on the ship like sardines, sitting arm to arm next to strangers. There was a small performance stage which was barely visible from where we were seated. There were only 2 performances out of everything mentioned on the brochure. All in all, the entire 3 hrs on the boat was a nightmare for us.
