    Great experience, very clean hotel with great service and great people. Only point for improvement is that breakfast buffet could be refilled more frequently, popular food like eggs was running out fast and not refilled at all. Apart from that, great experience and special thank you for Ali who gratefully hosted us at the reception.     It was a very pleasant stay at Primero hotel. The location is really great at the heart of Fatih with walkable access to Hagia Sophia, Bascilica and Grand bazar. The reception person Ali is great and takes care of guests well.     In a good location and provides the basic hotel requirements. There is no lounge area, and the breakfast room is small and in the basement.They want cash for the airport transfers and any tours you book. Euros are preferred.Overall reasonable for the price and adequate for 2 nights.The staff are friendly and helpful.     AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST!!!Our experience at Primero Hotel was absolutely terrible and unacceptable.We arrived at the reception around 9 PM after an exhausting 11-hour flight, WE PAID, we waited to receive the room, only to be told that we could not stay at the hotel because our room was “dirty and not cleaned yet.” It was obvious that this was a case of overbooking. Instead of taking responsibility, they sent us to another hotel “down the street.”The situation became even more unprofessional when the staff member who was supposed to guide us did not even know where the other hotel was and was unable to use Google Maps. We had to lead him ourselves. This alone says a lot about the level of professionalism.The alternative hotel (Grand Naki Hotel) was awful and far worse than what we had booked. It was extremely old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The walls were peeling, the room felt neglected, and the noise from the street was unbearable. This was not at all what we paid for or agreed to.The next morning, we returned to Primero Hotel. Despite having agreed the night before that our room would be ready in the morning, we were once again told that it was not available. This confirmed that we had been lied to. After arguing with them, they finally offered us a single-person room just so we could take a shower and rest briefly, until our “real” room would supposedly be ready in the afternoon. Completely unacceptable.We paid in cash because they did not accept cards, and they did not provide any receipt. The staff was rude, dismissive, and treated us very badly throughout the entire stay.To make things even worse, the breakfast was terrible. It was served in a basement room with no windows and no ventilation. The space felt suffocating, and the quality of the food was well below average.Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. I would never return and strongly do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
