    We had fantastic time in this hotel in May 2026 and very professional experience with Assistant front office manager Oguz Çalışkanoglu.     Misleading 5 Stars – Poor Hygiene, Unsafe Facilities, and Shockingly Bad Service

    This hotel is nowhere near a 5‑star standard.The room was dirty, and the bathroom was outright unhygienic. The shower design is frankly dangerous, requiring a ~55 cm step to get in and out — completely unacceptable and an accident waiting to happen, especially for anyone with limited mobility.When I raised this and requested a room change for safety reasons, the staff were dismissive and offered no solution other than paying more. No concern, no accountability.Service across the hotel was consistently poor. Breakfast was poorly staffed, with the hot food area often unattended. Staff generally appeared uninterested and disengaged.Bar service was a complete failure — over 40 minutes’ wait to be served, twice.Overall, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience. This property does not meet even basic expectations, let alone 5‑star standards. I would not return and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.     The most important ingredient a chef can add to food is love, and Chef Sebal at the Radisson Blu Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul proves exactly that.All I asked for was a simple omelet, but I never imagined an omelet could be prepared with such passion, care, and positive energy. Chef Sebal turned something simple into something truly memorable. You could genuinely feel the warmth and heart in the cooking.The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the Bosphorus view is breathtaking, but what made the experience truly special was Chef Sebal herself.Giving five stars feels like an understatement.Of course, kudos also go to the rest of the staff, who were all extremely kind, welcoming, and professional throughout the experience.Thank you, Chef Sebal, and the entire team, for making such a simple moment feel so special.
