  Robbery in the hotel

  The hotel is full of thieves, the luggage assistant has stolen my Rolex watch from safety box of the room.I have complained to the staff and managers but they are very racist with expat guests. I strongly dis recommend this hotel and the area around

  Breakfast had no international variety and almost same daily during my 8 night stay. Needs more lightings in hall. The sofa and chairs were stained , pics attached. Bed very comfortable, two bedroom apartment can comfortably sleep only 3, 4th adult has to use sofa bed, 2nd room is small to accommodate extra folding bed. Many restaurants and supermarkets nearby at walking distance. Mall of Istanbul is 10 mins by taxi.   Worst experience of traveling abroad

  I booked a hotel in Istanbul...however i didn’t know Istanbul has many different neighborhoods within the city and so i booked in Batishir bc it said it was close to the airport (15 mins) and the city was only 8mi away on the website (basically made it seem like it was in a good location nearby things to do). First red flag was when i arrived to to the Istanbul International airport, the drive was about 45-50 mins to the hotel. I got there, checked in perfectly fine. However, i arrived late to Istanbul so i was hungry and looked at the distance to the old town/city life and it said it was another 40 mins away. That was another 175 liras spent on the taxi if i did that, so i ordered room service. I told them multiple times i wanted the Great Messeh/Grilled Mix item under the Movie Night section on the menu, and they still ended up serving the wrong item. I asked them multiple times if it would be taken off my bill at the time AND during checkout, but bc of language problems, they couldn’t understand what i was asking them, so i had to pay for the item that i didn’t even touch or eat. I booked the Apartment room, which said it had a view of the city, but it had a view of a playground and a bunch of other hotel room balconies. No view whatsoever of city lolThe rooms are smaller than what the pictures make it out to seem, the bathroom shower leaks to the floor, the room and hotel in general has this weird smell. Breakfast food was basically leftovers and was so stale and cold. This hotel should not be recommended at all if you’re visiting Istanbul for the old city/tourist attractions. It’s 40-50 mins away from where all the attractions and entertainments are, which is about $30-50 there and another 30-50$ back to the hotel. The taxi drivers will for sure rip u off if u stay here bc of how far it is. Worst part was when we were trying to go back to the hotel from the city, i showed them the address of the hotel and said it was in Bateshir, but the taxi driver took us to the wrong radisson Blu hotel in Auteshir or something like that which was in the Asian side of turkey and complete opposite direction of the bateshir hotel. It was late night and just me and my mom so no one helped us, not even the people at the radisson Blu hotel deskI was not happy at all with my stay here or in Istanbul.   My family checked in on 28 Nov 2019. During the check-in, I asked for the wifi password. The front desk was kind enough to take our phones to help us with that. The following day after we left the hotel, I was shocked to receive an email saying that I had given the hotel a 5-stars rating on google which I never did. Clearly, the front desk had convenvient gave them a 5-stars while they were holding our phones. This in not an individual case. It also happen to all members in our tour group who had also passed the front desk their phones. This is totally unethical and now I have to change all my passwords.To be fair, this is a very nice hotel but be warned what they will do behind your back.
