    The rooms are really good, but the best part about this hotel is the closeness to the city everything available, great restaurants close by. And really extremely sweet hotel staff and owners I highly recommend this place.

    Dont come here. The photos doesn't show how bad this hotel is. Noise on the terrace, lift and restaurant werent working, horrendous humidity smell in the room. Shower on the floor. It was a mistake booking here.

    We travelled as a family, initially booking a different hotel but as we arrived the hotel looked like a prison. So after roaming the allies in Istanbul at 1.am, desperate to find somewhere to stay we came across AST hotel. The manager was very welcoming and reassuring. The hospitality of Mr Ahmed was exceptional, always offering turkish tea any time of the day. Lots of advice and support was offered. Khalid Family x

    Dirty rooms that smell

    My room had a horrible time for the three nights I was there. It came from the bathroom but the door was completely broken and wouldn't close. I tried to keep the window open the whole time to air it out. Even when he showed me my room he opened the window and said to let it air out. There was hair in my bed when I lifted the sheets and the floors hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The sink drained right onto the floor and drained toward the shower so you had to stand in the dirty water coming out from the sink. The family would eat their meals in the lobby, the only place where you can use the internet so there was no privacy and sometimes you even felt like you were intruding. The hotel needs an overall cleaning. I held onto my key the whole time.

    We stayed at Ast Hotel for five nights. We had a lovely time. The owner and staff was so helpful and nice to us. We really enjoyed our time. We got a lot of help and recommendations from the owner. We had a nice view as well.
