  My experience at this hotel was very disappointing.The hotel does not match the photos advertised on Booking.com. The images create an impression of a much higher standard than what is actually provided. In addition, there was a strong sewage smell in both the hotel and the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable.I expected a clean and pleasant environment, but unfortunately the condition of the property did not meet reasonable expectations. The unpleasant odor significantly affected the overall experience.To make matters worse, when I was leaving the hotel, I was carrying three large suitcases and was clearly struggling to open the entrance door. Several employees saw me but did not offer any assistance. This lack of basic customer service and hospitality was disappointing and left a very poor impression.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

  good hotel step away from local amentities

  for two night as stop over in istanbul to vancouver we stay at hotel .we book sea view room but we get bosphorus view suite.the suite in large with view to busphorus. the breakast and pool areaare good .due to construction in front of hotel try to have room in 11th floor andupper . the hotel is not good for walk around area or use of publictransportation as there is multiple intersections and many steps .   Our stay at Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel was truly outstanding from beginning to end. Every moment of our vacation reflected excellence, refinement, and genuine hospitality. One important added value, the location of the hotel and the breathtaking view on the Bosphorus.From the very first minutes of our arrival, we received a warm and elegant welcome at the Front Desk by Mr. Volkan, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention immediately made us feel comfortable and valued. The entire front desk and concierge teams were exceptional throughout our stay — always smiling, attentive, efficient, and ready to assist with genuine care and courtesy. Their dedication made every part of our experience smooth, pleasant, and stress-free.Each morning at the Daily & Breakfast Art Restaurant became a true pleasure thanks to the perfect duo, Mrs. Summeye and Mr. Ozkan, and their remarkable team. Their leadership, elegance, professionalism, and warm hospitality created an atmosphere that was both refined and welcoming. They managed every detail with perfection and made every guest feel special.The breakfast experience was simply extraordinary. The buffet was incredibly rich, varied, beautifully presented, and filled with fresh and delicious high-quality products for every taste.   Very disappointing experience overall. Upon checkout, the hotel removed my Bonvoy number from the reservation, seemingly to avoid awarding points and sending the guest satisfaction survey. Make sure to double-check your account and follow up after your stay.The property is in very poor condition and urgently needs renovation. The lounge is extremely small with very limited offerings, and the rooms are outdated and worn out. The bed was so uncomfortable and old that I ended up ordering an extra bed just to sleep properly.Breakfast was also disappointing, with many items missing and guests needing to repeatedly ask staff for refills. On top of that, there is no parking provided for hotel guests.Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.   Absolutely loved Bar 212 at the Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel ✨ The service was incredible from start to finish and the food was absolutely impeccable. A special thank you to Ilker, whose service was honestly amazing — so attentive, welcoming, and professional all evening. The views over Istanbul at night were unreal, with such a beautiful atmosphere, amazing cocktails, and the perfect vibe for a special evening.
